Massage is as effective as Myofascial PT

I noticed this article about a randomized study for myofascial PT for IC presented at a conference in Chicago just this month. For the symptom of pain myofascial PT was found not to be significantly more effective that a regular full body massage. The control group of patients were given a regular f...

Re: Does this affect children?

Thanks Violet. I also discovered one who claims to specialize in PN at the university of Oklahoma. I know there is a surgeon who has started performing pudendal nerve surgery in Oklahoma. I am so sorry to hear that your daughter is having to suffer this condition. I hope you can get help for her. H...

Re: Vaginal & rectal valium experiences?

Re: Former Bicyclist - In lots of pain. :(

Welcome to the forum. I think your best bet would be to have a scan done which can asses if you have an entrapped nerve. There are 2 options either the MRN or the 3T scan with Dr Hollis Potter. The 3T with Dr Potter in New York seems to be more popular and it is also covered by insurance. You will f...

Re: Dr Weiss - personal experiences

Wise and Weiss are from the same Rhonda Kotarinos school of myofascial pelvic floor therapy (Wise/Weiss used to work together in the same practice but had a fallout). They learned or were treated by her so they perpetuate that form of treatment. I saw Rhonda at Dr.Weiss' practice once as she visits...
