Re: VERY INTERESTING - DR. FILLER'S OFFICE ON MRN VS. 3T
I signed up to Dr Filler's nervemed email list and received this today. Obviously it is written by Fillers office so it is clearly heavily biased. I get the feeling they are reading this forum. Magnetic resonance neurography - the technology used by The Neurography Institute to image nerve tissue an...

Consider that Filler is Hibner's competitor for surgical marketing share. Potter is not a surgeon and is not competition.

Re: Trying Again
Unfortunately the reality of the situation is, research is often a good 10 - 15 years behind practice...? Well that may be the case but it does not provide an excuse for the lack of evidence for myofascial physical therapy for pelvic pain. Myofascial physical therapy has been used for pelvic pain f...

Re: Trying Again
There has only ever been one controlled study assessing myofascial PT treatment for pelvic pain and the patients it seems were only tracked over 12 weeks. I find this remarkable as PT is often spoken about as if it is a proven treatment. It is not and even the researchers in this study acknowledge t...

Re: Trying Again
I keep hearing about how sometimes you have to get worse in PT before you get better, BUT...is there ANYONE here, or anyone who knows anyone, who actually had their PN exacerbated and then improved, by their PT just continuing the exacerbating techniques until some kind of corner was turned? Until ...

Re: Trying Again
PT can be worth a go but bear in mind there is no real evidence that it works. PT themselves make lots of grandiose claims about success rates but the PT's I have seen have never made any attempt to follow up the progress of their patients so I have no idea how they have come to decide upon these cl...

Re: Dr. Hibner's comment on Dr. Potter'S 3 Tesla MRI
Hi everybody. As far as Dr. Filler's MRN is concerned,he doesn't believe that they are very accurate and rather very expensive. As I have said in the previous thread Good luck with your surgery. I am pleased that the 3T has helped you so much. There is no difference in price between the MRN and the...

Re: VERY INTERESTING - DR. FILLER'S OFFICE ON MRN VS. 3T
Dr. Filler's MRN isn't very accurate. I can understand this thread and I think its a very good debate to have. It's a question people are bound to ask. However I think theres a danger that we are saying that Potter and Filler are against each other. I don't think that is the case at all. Yes they w...

Re: Hypograstric nerve block
Missyrg Please don't feel to disheartened that your hypogastic nerve block did not work for you. I myself was recommended to have a hyposgastric nerve blcok by a physical therapist. When I went to a doctor to perform it for me they told me they could do it if I insisted but they did not think it wou...

Re: Old info
It is too bad we lost some of the information but to be honest some of the older stuff was quite confusing. A few years ago, we had the "cure" of the month and everybody was rushing to get the ultimate new treatment (ART, cold laser, prolotherapy etc... etc...) or supplement. Very rarely ...
