Re: Nantes Study on the ST and SS ligaments

Excellent points by Karyn,NyT,Violet and ofcourse HerMajesty. The biggest problem is it is coming from the Nantes team which has openly denied any forms of Pelvic instability like SIJD,tailbone pain Priformis muscle after they sever the ligaments especially the Sacrotuberous ligament. Then if young k...

Re: my thoughts

You make some excellent points. I especially agree with this part. I have had to be very pro-active with my G.P and persuaded her to do blood tests to rule out any autoimmune disease and prostate exam and test. The last thing I want is to be diagnosed with Chronic Abacterial Prostatis and then be le...

Re: A Headache in the Pelvis Clinic

The hotel is not booked exclusively for Wise patients. The physical therapy is performed in a hotel room. Just curious, Charlie & Ezer - You've brought a lot of useful informaiton, first hand experience to the forum regarding the Wise-Anderson Clinic. People can do with it what they want. What I...

Re: DR HIBNER WONT OPERATE

Charlie, Do you think that Pierre QC,Ray,Mdavis etc wanted those when they went to Nantes or Houston to get it.Were they warned of such results. What I am debating is to fix the problem instead of denying it.Doctors should warn people of all potential dangers with the traditional TG approach or even...

Re: DR HIBNER WONT OPERATE

Since the pudendal nerve runs through the alcock's canal between two muscles, the obturator internus and the levator ani, if those muscles are tense or in spasm they can impinge on/irritate the nerve and cause neuralgia. I agree and there is a case study on pub med that describes this. http://www.n...

Re: A critical review of myofascial/trigger point treatment

Charlie, I'm sure you have tried a sacroiliac belt, but if not give it a go. I have not tried that. Thanks for the suggestion . I will ask my Dr about it. I should also add that I notice some people say they are in less pain when they wake up. I don't get that at all. I wake up in pain. It does not...

Re: INTERNATIONAL UROGYNECOLOGY ASSOCIATION 2010

Your welcome. They are excellent presentations. For example if you are considering the TG surgery the presentation entitled Pudendal Nerve Decompression Surgery: Transgluteal Technique gives a good explanation of the operation. Obviously different surgeons have varying techniques but it is a good ov...

Re: Nantes Study on the ST and SS ligaments

It is an interesting first study to attempt to understand the importance of these two ligaments. However, they can not take into account the effects of weight bearing, the stress of standing, the effects of laying on your back and any normal every day activities. I see the point your making here ny...
