Re: THE INSTITUTE FOR ADVANCED RECONSTRUCTION

I went to see them and they seem very professional, but never had the pudendal decompression surgery because the bill they sent me for it was $280,000 USD X.X So now I am likely to have surgery with Dr. Bollens in Belgium for 28,000 Euros what symptoms you have ? Bollens had a much lower price for ...

Re: Can Alcock's Canal be properly decompressed laparoscopically?

I was directly told by more than 1 laparoscopic surgeon that they cannot decompress the alcocks canal via this method. They said it has to be done via transgluteal surgery.

Exhaustive List of Pudendal Surgeons Spring 2025

I spent a few months doing exhaustive research to find all pudendal decompression surgery options. Sadly I ended up being told by more than 1 surgeon that they do not think surgery will help me because I had transgluteal decompression surgery 22 years ago. But it would be a shame for all of this res...

Re: What medication has worked best for your PN pain?

Whatever you found to be the right blend of CBD to THC? Is there a product link you would be open to sharing? Thanks, Bart Like some of you, I’ve been through the med roulette too. Gabapentin was a nightmare for me as well, terrible withdrawal and only marginal relief. Tramadol didn’t do much, and I...

Re: What medication has worked best for your PN pain?

Thank you so much for the feedback April. Wishing you comfort and healing 🙏 Hi Bart, I think Lyrica and gabapentin are really similar---in fact, I thought they were almost same drug---so I would not try Lyrica, given your experience with gabapentin. I was on three medications at once for almost all ...

Re: What medication has worked best for your PN pain?

Are you using the baclofen in suppository form or oral tablets? And how does it make you feel when you have 10mg vs 20 mg?
29Mari wrote: Tue Apr 01, 2025 8:47 pm The Baclofen is 10 mg but more effective if I use 20 mg But like you I'm careful how much and how often I use it. And I don't really like the way it makes me feel.

Re: What medication has worked best for your PN pain?

Thank you for letting me know you've had better results with low dose amyltriptline than gabapentin! What is the dosage of the baclofen suppositories you use? I've got some 5mg ones but couldn't tell if they were working when I took it 2 or 3 times a week...not sure if I should be using them regular...

Re: What medication has worked best for your PN pain?

Hi Matt, My symptoms are pain in the perineum and gluteal fold and somewhat into the rear of the testicles, all on my left side. Everything fits the Nantes criteria, PN has been confirmed in multiple nerve blocks, and very notably I had pudendal nerve entrapment 23 years ago that was fixed by decomp...

Re: What medication has worked best for your PN pain?

Hi April, Thank you so much for the detailed information. For some reason opioids have not been all that effective for my nerve pain. Tramadol did nothing, and oxycodone/hydrocodone has too little benefit for me to risk the addictive issues associated with it. I had a horrible experience with gabape...
