Re: Spine map for all drg locations and all spine ports
This is so useful; thank you! It looks like my issues are coming from s2 & s3...possibly s4 as well. In case you get a neurostimulator, whether DRG or any other, you will need a map of where each spine “port” controls on your body. Just google Dermatome Map, and there are many images of the spin...

Re: SCS or DRG
Everything I've read says that DRG has a much higher success rate. Sadly it appears that many more doctors do SCS, but it is much harder to find those who do DRG. (especially in-network for marketplace insurance)

Has anyone had issues from DRG implantation?
I am considering trying a Dorsal Root Ganglion (DRG) implant...it seems to have pretty good success rate. Has anyone had issues from the DRG implant? Does it just prevent pain signals from reaching the brain, or does it interfere with other nerve signals? I'm concerned about it affecting sexual func...

Re: Diagnosis? My story so far
Hi Dexter, Did the ganglion impar block give you any relief? I am considering having one and it is so hard to find any information about its use for PN. Thanks, Bart And of course, do not rush into anything even remotely more invasive until you have exhausted all of the conservative treatment option...

Ganglion Impar Block?
After 3 pudendal blocks (all confirmed PN, none offered any lasting relief once the lidocaine wore off), a pulsed RF procedure that did nothing but flare up pain for a week, and months of pelvic floor PT, my doctor suggested trying one of these: - Ganglion Impar Block - apparently this is supposed t...

Re: Pulsed RF Ablation Stories? Or PRP Stories?
I had quite a bit of PRP on the past for another injury and honestly, I can't see how it would help with pudendal neuralgia. Its primary function is to make the body build connective tissue, whereas it seems in most cases of PN there are impingements and muscular dysfunction that put pressure on the...

Re: What is the best dosage of baclofen rectal suppositories?
You are amazing - thank you so much! According to this publication they recommend a dose of 10 mg. at bedtime (HS) but that is for females and it doesn't say whether it's a vaginal or rectal suppository but I don't think that would make a difference in the dose. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/arti...
