Re: Vision problems with lyrica

About vision problems ....I notice my vision gets bad after focusing on the computer or reading for a while. It takes maybe 15 minutes for my eyes to re-adjust to distance vision (never had this issue before taking these drugs!). I take only 100 mg gabapentin and 10 mg amitriptyline. This combo, btw...

Re: Low Grade Fever

About 15 years ago I had a low grade fever for about a year. It turned to be a reaction to decaf, which at the time I drank every day. through experimentation I found that regular coffee doesn't set it off, only the decaf. It's some kind of autoimmune reaction...

Re: sitting down is so uncomfortable

Hi SusiQ Sorry you have so much discomfort. I can't tell from your description whether or not your problem is pudendal. Generally, with PN, people are not awakened by pain at night, and often wake pain free in the morning. The pain progresses through the day, particularly if one sits or bends or eve...

Re: autoimmunity and PN

If I knew that the PNE was an autoimmune syndrome (for me), I would relax, knowing that it was likely to go away by itself (as have my other autoimmune attacks). But there's no way of knowing...

Re: autoimmunity and PN

Thanks, guys. Actually, I'm very prone to a variety of mysterious autoimmune symptoms, different ones each couple of years. My blood work shows autoimmune problems that don't fit neatly into any particular diagnostic category. So PNE could, theoretically, but an autoimmune situation... I'm just wond...

autoimmunity and PN

Scouring this site I found this on the general info page: "There are numerous possible causes for pudendal neuropathy. Some of the possible causes are an inflammatory or autoimmune illness," So my question is: Where can I find more information on the connection of autoimmunity and PN? I ha...

Re: Flu shots? H1N1

Thanks for your thoughtful reply, Her Majesty. I actually think I pushed myself over some edge by trying to learn a dance routine I'd seen on Glee. Stupid thing to do, I guess, for a 61 year old!

Flu shots and PNE?

My PNE problems started a few weeks after a Swine flu (HiN1) shot. I'm just wondering if there's any connection, as neurological responses to shots are fairly common.

Anyone else notice any correlation?
