Re: Dr Greenslade, Bristol. Does he do a physical examination?
I haven’t but just wanted to say I’m in the same exact boat. No one will examine and then they act puzzled that they don’t know what’s wrong

Re: Michael Durtnall : the way forward to solve my pudendal pain
Durtnall retired, the website says this under the new owner Dominic Metcalfe’s profile, as well as Madalina Grigore who trained under Durtnall

Re: Advice on type of nerve conduction study (NCS) and/or electromyography (EMG) for pelvic pain?
I wouldn't be able to travel to Ireland, and also a completely different healthcare system from the UK. I'm trying to find whether it needs to be specified that it's a pelvic NCS/EMG since there seem to be plenty of neurophysiologists who say they do them in their profiles but it's not clear whether...

Re: Pudendal Neuraliga
Hello, was just wondering if you could offer an update as to how things are now? Has the improvement you gained been maintained in the last few months? I'm booked in to see Maria-Madalina Grigore, but just for a one off appointment to glean as much as I can. I live in North Yorkshire so unfortunate...

Re: Life after pudendal nerve problems
It really is debilitating, sadly don't have an answer since I'm still too 'early' into the journey and can't seem to get any kind of answers. How was your experience with Sayer Clinic? I hope they've been able to help.

Advice on type of nerve conduction study (NCS) and/or electromyography (EMG) for pelvic pain?
I was supposed to see a neurologist for a NCS/EMG and then when they found out it was for pelvic pain they said they couldn't do it. They said they only do hands and feet and that a pelvic NCS/EMG would be a completely different type of test. I hadn't heard of this before and had just assumed they'd...

Re: New Member: Scotland, UK
I'm not 100% sure actually but if I do they're not significant. There's always so much pain and pressure around that area generally that I sometimes think I'm feeling a bit of pain and urgency with urination, but it's nothing like what would be felt with a UTI and the frequency is normal, no issues ...

Re: New Member: Scotland, UK
Apologies, I'm still figuring out how to reply to posts on here and no idea if I'm doing this right! It's been almost a year. Interesting that your doctor has insisted on a urologist, I requested an appointment with a uro-gynaecologist and my GP was adamant that urology/gynaecology were completely i...

Re: New Member: Scotland, UK
Thanks Violet, very frustrating indeed! I contacted William Taylor last year but was told that if they detected nerve issues as the cause of my pain they'd just refer me back to my GP, which is usually how it goes in the UK, all gets referred back to the GP. I can get a referral to various specialti...

Hello 40/F and joined recently, have not yet had a diagnosis so not sure whether what I'm experiencing is PN or something else. I haven't had an injury that I'm aware of, haven't had kids, don't cycle, etc. The nerve pain has been debilitating and disabling, and it's affecting every aspect of my lif...
