Re: Experiences with Dr. Aaron Filler?

I had surgery with Dr. Filler in 2006. My op report from the surgery indicates that he cured my sciatica with piriformis injections. I only had pudendal pain, never had sciatica. I did have a piriformis injection with him prior to surgery, however, it did not change my pudendal pain at all. May I a...

Re: Clear passage in Gainesville Fl

I live in the Gainesville area. I developed PN while undergoing Pelvic PT at the University of Florida in2012 for coccyx pain. Continued PT there made me worse so I sought out Clear Passage. Kim was my primary therapist there. They do not specialize in treating PN but we're able to help me. After a...

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder

SweetMama, If you have formed scar tissue after a hysterectomy, it could potentially cause entrapments on both sides. I'm not saying that's for sure what has happened but theoretically, it is possible. Or if the pelvic floor was pulled tight on both sides it could theoretically cause a stretch of t...

Re: Is PN always one sided?

Often with an entrapment you are more likely to have worse pain on one side, but it is possible to be entrapped on both sides. Like April said, you can have pudendal neuralgia without entrapment, or over time the pain can spread throughout the pelvic, especially if the pelvic floor muscles become t...

Worse on one side but over time it spread to the entire pelvis. Bautrant released entrapments on both sides.

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder

Hi Holly, I'll chime in and say I have had the same experiences as Violet and Stephanies. I cannot tolerate any internal pt without a major flare (and my pn now is quite mild, so even for me it's intolerable). I hadn't done internal since years before my surgery but just last year had some internal...

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder

My pgad only flares when i am fully at rest. That is when i am laying in bed at night. Mine was worst at night too. I don't know if it was due to the position of lying down or if it was because there is nothing to distract you when you are trying to go to sleep. For several months when it first sta...

Re: Can steroid injection to S2-S4 help PN

Thank you all πŸ™

My pain I feel is on both sides. Very hard to sit any period of time.
I guess I need to ask the gyno how he closed me up? Maybe he stretched something too much ?
My main start of pain is at clitoris and it feels just both sides
