Re: I'm back :(

PP, By "who I am", I just meant that you didn't know me from any other forum member. Yes, I did have surgery in Nantes, 2001, and yes, I've had some improvement, but combined with having muscular dystrophy and its effects, my health hasn't gotten well enough for me to be normal. I went to ...

Re: I'm back :(

Hey, I'm loving this breath of fresh air! For the record, I had no problems during, or after, TG surgery. (I remain in pain because my nerve was severely compromised.) I think that you're in the minority, Stephanie. And, I think it's sad that my post is actually "a breath of fresh air" on...

Re: New member

Greg, there were definitely more than 2 people on your forum who posted that they developed hypermobility or SI joint dysfunction/pain after TG surgery. I know people who have told me personally that they developed SI problems post TG surgery. I don't think people make these things up. Violet, belo...

Re: I'm back :(

Unfortunately we don't have tipna to refer back to but I remember a thread on that forum where there were a surprising number of people who reported complications from having their ligaments cut from TG surgery . Two things: A "surprising" number of people is a pretty ambiguous way to phr...

Re: I'm back :(

Ali is right: Cut the ligaments is a very bad idea. Dr. Hibner cuts, but restores. Instability is certain in physical activity: Other nerves can be compromised, including the sciatic. Well how do you (bma) know that cutting the ligaments is a very bad idea? I know of tons of people who've had their...

Re: New help for friend getting botox approved

Are people just not trying botox injections? I thought this was a very regular thing that Dr. Hibner did to many of his patients?

Need help for friend getting botox approved

Hey everyone. I'm trying to help a friend of mine get approval for a botox injection into certain pelvic floor muscles. She has Blue Cross insurance and they want to charge her for the botox specifically which, as we all know, is expensive. Just wondering if there is anything specific that someone h...

Re: I'm back :(

Gary, If you'll notice, no one except for Ali mentioned anything so negative and confidently conclusive about how damaging cutting the ligaments were. The reason is because it seems to be Ali's mission to scare any and every one regarding the TG surgery that Professor Robert performs. If you'll note...
