Re: Ketamine & Lidocain IV for PNE
Ketamine is AWESOME! It is a shift in thinking to realize that many of us are suffering with not only pelvic pain, but centralized pain, or CRPS/RSD. I had this shift when a 3-day course of ketamine completely erased my pain for 3 days. Unfortunately, I have IC. Ketamine is a bad bladder irritant, s...

Re: pain pump trial
That is an excellent question. I have asked Dr. Prager this and he said to tell people to call his office. I guess there is no one answer as each situation is different. (But so far I don't know of anyone personally who has started with Dr. Prager and then gone home to follow up with a different pai...

Hi Sam,
I responded to your private message but can see that you haven't "picked it up"
Do you know how to get to your private messages?
One of us would be happy to help you if that is the case!

Re: pain pump trial
That first method I described works as follows while in a hospital (or an out-patient hospital center) the doctor injects an IV into the intrathecal space (l kind of like an epidural given to moms in labor). The IV is attached to a catheter in which he/she can put one drug like Morphine, (one metho...

Re: Farewell to Tipna (www.tipna.org) party, Feb 4
Greg, I'm so glad I checked in and saw your post. I haven't been online for quite a while so it was fortunate timing. I am grateful to TIPNA for being there when I had nowhere else to go. I have made many friends between TIPNA and pudendalhope. I will plan on checking in on Feb. 4! Thank you so much.

Re: Padded Toilet seat raiser
I'm sorry it squashed down on you Poppy... I don't know if this is helpful, but I the solution we came up with was a regular padded toilet seat that goes on top of a riser. The riser doesn't have handles or anything on it... It screws down tight on the bottom half of the toilet and then the padded t...

Re: Need support for surgery please
Bobby,
I also hope you are having a positive recovery
(although at this early stage I know for me that the TG surgery was painful)
and I wish you all the best as you go through the healing process, and I hope you have success.
