Re: Wise Anderson protocol

Lenny, I did the Wise-Anderson clinic (which at that time was called the "Stanford Protocol" - they had to cease using the Stanford name since then) Anyway, the worst part about it for me was that the "Headache in the Pelvis" book and the clinic suggests that chronic pelvic pain ...

Re: Dr. Hibner - 3 Day Ketamine Infusion and Me

How are you doing nyt? Are you having more ketamine infusions with Dr. Howard? I am so so hopeful about this treatment for you! Let us know how you are doing. :D I must confess I have some self- interest here as well -- as I will be seeing Dr. Prager at UCLA this month and one of the treatments he u...

Re: Dr Dellon

It doesn't appear Dr. Dellon is aware that neurowrap completely dissolves within 2 weeks. Karyn, I also wanted to respond to your note about neurawrap... I thought the same thing, that it dissolved a short time naturally after surgery. The marketing material for it is very compelling and I liked th...

Re: Dr Dellon

However, that coming from a surgeon .... MY surgeon for instance, is lame. It's half-ass care. Not enough time or money isn't a good enough excuse to not return phone calls or keep track of the surgeries you performed. To find out what else could be going on, instead of just deeming the surgery a f...

Re: Dr Dellon

Maybe post-surgery is a good time for someone who still experiences pain to try TENS or acupuncture. Have you tried these recently? Lernica, Yes, I have two TENS units, different brands, that i have used during flares for the past 10 years or so. They don't do much for me. Likewise, with acupunctur...

Re: Dr Dellon

Lernica, Yeah! I've seen the video from TED Talks showing the mirror therapy for phantom limb pain by the doctor who invented it. Fascinating, wonderful stuff. I have a friend who had her bladder removed years ago due to end-stage Interstitial Cystitis. She still "feels" her inflamed bladd...

Re: Dr Dellon

Sharon, my heart goes out to you. I'm deeply saddened Dr. Dellon cut you loose because of a failed nerve block. Could he have been wrong about his initial diagnosis? Yeah, I was wondering this as well Sharon. He did the PFCN block above the ischial tuberosity? I'm kind of confused about that. From ...

Re: Dr. Hibner - 3 Day Ketamine Infusion and Me

Wow, nyt, count me in as another fascinated follower of your story! And thank you so much for posting it. I am also going to be checking out those forums you mention. I have been reading everything I can about ketamine and how it works. Your writing is very moving - I felt like I was right in that I...

Re: Dr Dellon

Hi Lotanerve, In view of your failed surgeries with Dr. Dellon, why didn't Dr. Dellon perform a redo Pudendal nerve surgery on you.Maybe, the pain was a referred pain from Pudendal Nerve and not the perineal and dorsal branches. Secondly, what does Dr. Hibner has to say about the new pain symptoms tha...
