Re: Dr Dellon
Faith and Lernica ----- Thanks so much you guys! And to think I have been scared to post about my "failed" surgeries. It's hard not to personalize it when one person gets better and you don't. I get those old messages in my head that say I am doing something wrong. Crazy, isn't it? Like we...
Re: Dr Dellon
Hey, I'm here - sorry I've been off the forum for awhile and not posting my results, but I've needed time to come to terms with my situation and to get the energy back to find another direction to go in. Someone let me know about this thread so I surfaced to read it and thought it was time I posted ...

Here's the website: http://www.pelvicpain.org/meetings/ Dr. Hibner and Dr. Dellon are on the schedule on Sat, Oct. 22 - one right after the other 12:25 p...

Re: New PNE Chapter on Dr. Dellon's site
Grace, I had surgery with Dr. Hibner a year ago tomorrow! Aug 30, 2010. So reading about the Neurawrap shook me up a little - but they say a picture is worth a thousand words, so this was even worse. I HOPE this is not what happens to most people, but if I understand this correctly, this is what Dr....

Re: New PNE Chapter on Dr. Dellon's site
Does it seem like PNE has become a catch-all term for pathology with any of the nerves that could be causing pelvic pain? (I know I need to improve my knowledge of other nerves besides the pudendal nerve.) I'm fortunate because I get curious and want to look it up. If it was like studying for a test...

Re: New PNE Chapter on Dr. Dellon's site
Lottanerve, you are absolutely right with how much more we will know in a few years that will improve treatment outcomes. It is also great about your friend who had the PFCN surgery that is doing great. I am so happy for her. Thanks nyt.... I need to look up the PFCN - posterior femoral cutaneous n...

Re: New PNE Chapter on Dr. Dellon's site
Oh well, then......I must not have ever had pudendal nerve entrapment if I go by Dr. Dellon's quote or the Nantes criteria. I had pain in the buttocks and near the ischial tuberosities, and believe me, PNE woke me up at night -- the shocks especially! My guess is that while these criteria, et...

Re: What can I expect post-op? Surgery with Dr. Hibner in 4
Art, My best advice is to get a riser for your toilet seat - I have long legs and it really strained my operated side trying to keep my leg sticking out straight instead of bending it. I wish I had had it at the hotel because I strained my leg that first week! I also agree with nyt on the wheelchair...

New PNE Chapter on Dr. Dellon's site
Hello PNE'ers and other pelvic nerve sufferers, There is a new chapter on pelvic pain written by Dr. Dellon and it is now up on his website. It is chapter 12 of his book, titled "Pain Solutions" I'm so glad I checked today because I knew it was "in the works" and I didn't know ho...

Re: Bruising after TG Surgery
Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. I had my first nerve block (unguided) from Dr. Weiss in 2006 which increased my nerve pain - it felt like the giant needle hit something in my hip. I had no idea it was possible to be injured from a nerve block. My sitting pain now is along my incision where I'm still hea...
