Re: Rectal Numbness: What does that tell you?

Hello, Sorry to hear that you have both symptoms going on. There are some medical devices to help with the peyronies. I wonder what Dr. Antolak would think about using the device to help with the curvature and if he thinks it could damage the PN, or have no affect on the PN at all. Have you had any ...

Re: IPPS and Erdogru

Hi guys, Wow, I can't believe how many more doctors have come onto the scene, to help with PN. That is awesome. There are so many reports of people getting better after a month or so and then others taking up to a couple of years, to see the full recovery of their nerve. I don't know if it is a matt...

Re: EMG With Dr Gordon, Toronto

Hello, I had the EMG done a really long time ago. It is pretty quick and for the most part painless. Just a couple of shocks that I felt, while they were doing the testing. But, I wish you the best of luck with the EMG and hopefully you will be able to get some definitive answers on if the pudendal ...

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder

Hi guys, I had a wicked case of PGAD, prior to my surgery. Now, it is still there at times, but much more manageable. That was one thing that I could not get rid of. I tried the nerve blocks and one doctor wanted to inject lidocaine right into the clitoris, to help stop that feeling, but I declined ...

Re: Ins. or disability paying for travel expences

Hi Kat,

I wished I knew of something, but right now I don't. Hopefully someone can answer this for you and see if there is any way to get travel expenses paid.

Take care,
Wendy

Re: Which is the most reliable test for pudental nerve probl

Wow, it has been such a long time since I have been around. I haven't even heard of Dr. Dellon. Violet, what does Dr. Dellon do, that is different from the other PN docs, that helps with the dorsal nerve of the clitoris?

Thanks,
Wendy

Re: Oxcarbazepine

Hello Traci, That is a really bad side effect. That really sucks! Glad you found out that it was the Lyrica causing the problem, before you acted on something. Medications can cause some serious side effects. But, knowing that you had that reaction to the Lyrica, it might be good to watch out for th...

Re: Surgery November 2009

Hi Jen, I am sorry to hear about what is going on with you. I had surgery with Dr. Conway and felt OK for a little bit and then the pain returned. I went to Dr. Hibner and had the TG surgery done. It is a difficult decision to make. I would definitely try all non invasive techniques first, befoe opt...

Re: WHERE DI I GO FOR TESTING

Hi Dee Dee, I am sorry to hear about your pain. I am on Cymbalta, Neurontin and Tegretol, which seem to work pretty well for me. It sounds like you were doing well for a long time on just Neurontin and Tramadol, but then it did not help as much as before. That sometimes happens. I would definitely t...
