Re: UPDATE -Introduction - Penile Pain, Dr Gajraj...Hip labr

Hi Sabot,

I am glad to hear that you finally received an anwser about what is going on with your chronic pain. What would you be doing to address the hip issues? I think it's wonderful that you have a solid plan however, to help with your current pain.

Take care,
Wendy

Re: MRN

Hi Jen, Wow, I didn't know they were doing MRN's up in Boston. That is awesome. It looks like they have some experience with the pudendal nerve. I wonder if they are affiliated with any of the docs, like Dr. Conway, etc. I also hope that you find some financial assistance in getting the MRN done. I ...

Re: Hello from Vancouver

Hello White Falcon,

It sounds like you are doing everything that you can, to get back to as normal as you can, with the pain that you have. That is great. I hope that some of the things that you have planned do help you to be able to do the things you want to do.

Take care,
Wendy

Re: Drawing of my Pain

Hi Krista, Great diagram. It is interesting to hear about the light scratch versus the actual holding down or pushing down in that area. The only thing that I can think of is that you may have some nerves in your skin that are triggering off other nerves far more within the body. But, I do understan...

Re: Oxcarbazepine

Hi Tracy,

I hope that you do well with this new drug. I took a look at it and it looks like it is in category to treat epilepsy, kind of like neurontin and Lyrica. Have you tried any of these anti-eptileptic drugs before with any success?

Take care,
Wendy

Re: Alcohol. No, seriously.

You guys are way to funny! Yes, alcohol helps me as well. I do think that it helps relax the muscles that can be in constant contraction with PN.

Re: Hemorrhoids and PN

Hi Lemica,

I had some thoughts on your post. Sometimes constipation can cause hemheroids and constipation can also cause some PN damage, from doing all that pushing. So, I do think they can be related.

Re: How many doctors have you been to?

It is a shame that everyone has gone to see this many doctors and I bet that almost everyone who posted here was self diagnosed as PN and not diagnosed by a doctor.

Re: Hysterctomy with pn

Hi Merrie, I do not have PN from a Post hysterectomy, but post hysterectomies seem to be high on the list of what causes PN issues. There have been different thoughts on how PN is developed from the hysterectomy, everything from scar tissue, to having your legs being bent in a certain way, for a lon...

Re: Car Cushion

Hello, I have the U shaped cushion, which seems to work well for me. I use it for driving and it really does not leave my car at all. I had purchased a ROHO cushion, but it was extremely bulky. But, if you left the ROHO cushion in one place, like your favorite chair or your car, it is a very well ma...
