My third nerve block worked the best and last the longest about a month of reduce symptoms. They are not a cure in my opinion. I have the best results with medications and reducing stress in my life.

I did get some relieve from mine. I still have pain daily it just does on inter fear with my life as much. I would love to be pain free again and I believe it will happen someday.

Better but it is no cure. As for pt give it up a waste of money. It may work for a select few. You sould see some results after a month if pt is going to help.

It can happen to guys too. It can be very embarrassing especially if you have customers around. Vicodin does seam to help take care of it like some people have said tramadol works for them also.

I just had my second nerve block and this one was a lot more painful and the flare up with this one is more intense. Anybody else have this problem? Also the doctor said he might want to wait 2 months instead of one month like the last time befor doing the third. Anybody have some info about waitng ...

I am on 5mg of vicoden and 2 mg of valuim. Both are small dosages. They help somtimes others times I need more. The Nerve block that I had did nothing to realy help with the the pain just the consant burning I had became less of a problem.

This is a very good post. I am on Vicodin and Valium for the pain and the muscle spasms. For a while I felt terrible that I had to take a opioid to function every day. Now I have accepted it. I am on Vicoden and valium. Had one nerve block the next one is scheduled for next week. I still am in pain every day. I think I should talk to the dodctor about a medication for nerve pain. Any suggestions?
