Re: To yoga or not to yoga?
See, the block was not so bad was it Julia to undergo :). So understand you wanted to feel painfree and normal for a lot longer, but sadly its no guarantee youll get any relief let alone a lot. Its a diagnostic tool for PNE and if you also get good relief for a period of time when the steroids kick...

Re: ONE TOO MANY...
what it takes to belittle an already belittled, struggling to keep confidence, pain riddled person, instead of a standing ovation which in my opinion was the least Helen deserved, the best being Pride of Britain/usa award 100% agree with you there, little mo. Hard to believe those educated men woul...

Re: Sitting
Lenny, everyone is different, because this nerve is long and splits 3 ways so your irritation or entrapment could be different from the next sufferer. First you need your diagnosis! Once you've found the source of your pain and whether or not you have PN or PNE, then you can take things from there. ...

Re: Sitting
Lenny, if you have pudendal entrapment then the nerve is entrapped and sitting on it can only cause you worse pain than you presently have - in fact you just wouldnt be able to sit at all. If you have pudendal neuralgia, then persistent sitting can lead to entrapment via irritation to the nerve and ...

Re: To yoga or not to yoga?
For some reason nerve pain seems to show up a few hours later or the next day Too right, Violet :( . My muscles ached after doing all that gardening but the return of pudendal pain was a good couple of days later and got worse during the following week. I so won't overdo stretching/lifting/bending ...

Re: New here - could use any help / advice!
Monica, thanks for your PM explaining the whereabouts of your sharp stabbing pains. Sorry I misinterpreted - duh!. But hope the info I sent you re. working the adductor magnus might prove useful for pt work, as it can be an external culprit for sharp explosions of pain internally. And did tha...

Re: newbe here.
One thing to remember is nerve endings are slow to heal post surgery Robert, 3 months isn't long. Hugs to you for your present misery but hang on in there. If your specialist says emphatically you don't have PN/E, and he's conversant with the pudendal nerve, then that should be one thing you don't ...
