Re: D*mn cat!
Might have known you two would laugh :-D. Yes, mustve been a deeply subconscious thing when I chose that signature! The frog-leg bend would be the ideal solution Laura, if my knees werent so rubbish. I can bend down lithely and 5mins later am still down there, stuck  . So sticking one leg out ...

D*mn cat!
I let our cat in, put her food down (bending of course to do this) - she turned her nose up, walked away. I put some water down (bending again), she sniffed it, walked away. (I'm getting some twinges in the perineum with this bending). I sighed. I bent again, this time with one leg stretched out beh...

Re: Strange trip to Phoenix
But at least now I have permanently got myself in the habit of pronating instead of supinating my feet, which is definitely a better choice! Well I'm glad of that HM. I was slightly stuck in the first instance when trying to cut the padding out for my husband, since I've little idea of the size of ...

Re: Strange trip to Phoenix
Sorry to hear you have vertigo to add to the list, HM :(, had a brief spate of that 4 years ago and pleasant it is not! Thanks for explaining the atmospheric pressure phenomenon, I always wondered why there was a certain point on that mountainside where I'd get a headache and feel nauseated whether...

Re: Strange trip to Phoenix
I'm stunned some of you guys are better after a long flight!! What, sitting all the way?? Logically this sooooooo doesn't seem possible, though maybe it is with PN, and not PNE? Nowadays I think of myself as a PN'er and not a PNE'er (I hope), and in the past have experienced exactly the opposite on ...

Re: My MRI--all from a pickaxe?
Cari, that's just amazing that you get through 3x12hr shifts in a row!. My maximum shifts when my kids were babies (and I was fit then) were 8hrs, an extra 4 on a regular basis would have been mind numbing. You're a star. Anyhow, just wanted to say thanks to you for posting your MRI results...

Re: My not-so-official results
Cari, you've brought lumps to all our throats and i wish we could literally give you a group hug. You're a bit in shock I think and when that dies down you'll get your perspective back. You have to be positive girl, for yourself and your little children. You have a diagnosis , that's a huge step fo...

Re: Manchester, UK
Yes, I wish I lived near Bristol sometimes rather than London! Its of no help to patients in pain when information about your treatment processes is deliberately withheld by the consultant himself because he "is a very busy man" - as happened to me - and you're just the next bum on the tab...

Re: Physio for PN
You deserve an award for endurance :) !! I know how painful the piriformis massage can be! Thanks Helen, I humbly accept your nomination :-D :D Definitely its painful! But like you say, the more it's done the less it hurts and the quicker the result. Also the more often you do it, the deeper into t...
