Re: Gabapentin stopped working
Thanks, no. Other than dry mouth and some word recognition at times I don’t really have any issues. I’m on Klonopin now to help with sleep and it has helped some with the flare but I am having to taper off that so not sides what they will put me on long term. My pain doctor mentioned extended releas...

Re: Flare up after managing well for years
Hi Violet, Thank you for your input. Since my last post I began having burning in my arms and major insomnia (which I've never experienced. For a week I only slept once every over night. My nervous system was definitely wound up and not responding to anything much. I finally saw pain management and ...

Gabapentin stopped working
Has anyone had gabapentin stop working? I have taken it 1800-2700mg for almost 10 years. I managed decently well for about 5 years with little to no treatment on gabapentin, but am currently in a huge flare up. I bumped my neurontin back up to 2400mg from 1800, but I don’t feel like it’s working at ...

Flare up after managing well for years
Hello everyone, Some may still remember me. It's been several years since I've been on the forum. By God's grace I have managed the pain pretty well (at maybe a 50-60% overall pain reduction) with the help of gabapentin, massage, and lifestyle modifications (not sitting too long, resting more freque...

Dr. Katinka - Spero Clinic
Has anyone had any experience with Dr. Katinka at Spero Clinic in Arkansas? She treats CRPS/central sensitization and wondered if anyone with PN had tried this yet? https://thesperoclinic.com/

Hey Kathy,
I know it's been a long time since we talked. Sorry you are still in pain and unable to find local providers. I hope someone can help you out. Just wanted to say hi!

Re: Dr. Redmond
Hi Violet, Thank you for getting back to me. That helps a lot! Sorry I haven't been on here lately. (And sorry to anyone who has messaged me and I haven't responded!). I continue to struggle with daily pain. My complicated case of SIJD, sacral pain, hypermobility, central sensitization, pelvic floor...

Re: S1 Injection
Yes, because sacral/tailbone pain was my main symptom at first. But it did nothing for me. And my pain continued to spread.

Re: Dr. Redmond
Violet,
Do you know if Dr Redmond treats PN patients (like prescribing meds, ordering PT, etc) or only does blocks? We are looking to possibly relocate to SC.

Re: ESWT Treatment Experience in Cornwall
I just wanted to update this thread. Dr. Andrew charged me $128 for my records (for 5 days of treatment) to be sent to my disability attorney. I was blown away. The next closest amount I was charged was $38 and that was from my hip surgeon/PT (who I've seen for many months). My attorneys office said...
