Re: My health journey - looking for advice
Lindsay, You mention that you have had a CT scan of the pelvis. I wonder if an MRI would show something different. Endo can sometimes be seen on an MRI. I have endo that was suspected based on MRI images and confirmed in those locations via laparoscopy. In addition, since the PN originates at the sa...

Re: Ureteral Stents and Pyeloplasty
Revvy,
It sounds like you have had several procedures done over the last few months or and perhaps time is needed for healing. I have found that sometimes procedures or even just exams can be irritating and make symptoms worse. Please keep us posted on how you are doing.

Re: What is recovery from cryablation like?
Ross,
I am happy your PN at least feels like it isn't worsening now. How long ago did you have the cryo done? Is the doctor able to explain why you are having trouble walking after the procedure? Keep us posted on your progress.

Re: OI muscle
Jaxi, I don't know if you have any limitations from surgery but hip flexor and hip opening stretches seem to have helped me. I can't really explain why, maybe they loosen the obturator internus muscle? Botox into my pelvic muscles didn't help me either. I don't know when you last had Botox, but I ha...

Mugofwar,

Re: Pudendal Neuralgia without entrapment
Mugofwater, If muscle tension is the primary cause of the PN symptoms, PT should help over a few months and, if not, you could ask your doctor about Botox injections to relax the pelvic floor muscles. I also think with PN it is a good idea to have MRIs of the lumbar spine and pelvis to rule in or ou...

Re: UTI causing PN?
Hi, Like Violet, my early symptoms of PN felt like both a yeast infection and a UTI. I had the feeling of constantly needing to urinate and medication was able to help with the acute phase of that symptoms as it did calm down quite a bit for me after a few months. Do you have any other PN symptoms s...

Jaxi,
Have you tried Botox into the muscle to see if that helps?
