Re: Help long haul covid

Violet thank you for the reply. I’ve heard good things as well about ivermectin, was just concerned about compatibility with the gabapentin and amytriptyline I use for the pm.

Help long haul covid

I am really lost right now sitting in hospital with viral pneumonia from covid.
Been advised to use ivermectin from another guy who successfully beat it but he of course didn’t have pudendal issues.
Does anyone know any resources anywhere on where to go from here?

Re: About PN forums, please remind everyone......

I too have been looking for some stats showing some proof of success before considering the surgery, mainly because the surgery is a no going back decision. What I got from the doctor (in Houston) was a flat 1/3 get "cured", 1/3 get better, and 1/3 no improvement. Ok, well gee that's not r...

Re: New Person with Pudendal Nerve Disorder

Have you tried alprazolam (xanax)? It's in the same class of drug. It seemed to help me somewhat but I never tried taking it daily but only every once awhile to sleep. I realize it's addictive as well but if it would help if taken regularly I would try it.

Re: Ischial Tuberosity Pain or Sensitivity

Very interesting possibilities, as you say the pelvis and it's nerve interactions are complex and each person may be different. It's just that I feel I need to understand my particular case better before I take the plunge into TG surgery. I was guessing someone would say the ischial tuberosity pain ...

Ischial Tuberosity Pain or Sensitivity

Just curious how many of you have ischial tuberosity pain or maybe sensitivity in that area? I didn't notice it back when I was sitting a lot but since I've stopped sitting I've noticed that I have more sensitivity in the inner lower part of my buttocks than before. Just a slight bit of pressure suc...

Re: Workers Compensation covered my PNE

Bradley, I too believe my situation was caused by prolonged sitting (IT job) but I never really expected Work comp to be easy to get approved. I would be interested in any updates you could provide in your success. It's unfortunate that this is so poorly recognized in modern society when there is a ...

Re: Glad to find this board

Yes Helen that's correct, I can't recall any memorable event or injury that could have caused this and with the bilateral symptoms I was having a little trouble comprehending true entrapment. The pain symptoms came on with both sides at the same time so that I couldn't tell whether it was right or l...

Re: Glad to find this board

Need some help trying to put together more pieces of the puzzle. I had the PNMLT done and have 4.3 and 4.5 readings so supposedly have some neuropathy or nerve damage on both sides. From that alone would it be wise to assume there is entrapment? I have read that anything over 4 is abnormal so guess ...

SI/ST Ligament Entrapment and Hip Flex

Can anyone help me understand the mechanics of the entrapment at the Sacrotuberuos and Sacrospinous Ligaments? Concerning hip flexion if one squats down to pick up an object and experiences pain presumably from the stretching of the nerve due to the impingement between the ligaments. Why does one no...
