Re: First Time Post - My Story and All Input Welcome!
Matt, I think seeing a Colo/rectal doctor is a great idea. I am glad the interventional radiologist was able to guide you and save you from further pain. I am also going to be checked for a hernia as well, by a general surgeon that takes care of hernias for the pro baseball players in my area. I tho...

Thank you Violet! You are so sweet! Things are a little better today, but the pain can be just too much some days. Will be seeing Hibner soon, I hope hope it helps.

Re: Where to go from here
Hi Shana! A couple questions, have you had the position of your coccyx bone checked out? Mine curves in a bit and that alone could cause some pain. Have you had an MRI of your pelvis or lumbar spine? You mentioned you have talked with Dr. Conway, he seems like a really great physician. I have actual...

River, I am so happy you are finding some relief from your surgery! I too hope your pudendal nerve heals soon as well. Tonight I think I would take surgery this minute! I am having brutal spasms that are twisting the fire out the nerves! Oh my!

Re: Surgery with Dr Azsmann
Yikes Earl! Now I am really nervous! I am like you, I respond opposite/etc. to most things. I am wondering if I should skip a part of the "combo" approach. I had better decide pretty quick. Have you decided about surgery?

Re: Possible PN and hoping for help!
Thank you Helen! You are always so sweet to respond!
I think Loretta and Hibner are a good team. There are some really kind physicians that treat PN out there, I have talked (not actually visited in person) with at least five and impressed with all.

Re: Surgery with Dr Azsmann
Earl, is there a PN doctor at the University of Washington Hospital? I feel like you....wondering if the diagnosis is right on. All the decisions we have to make is sometimes just too overwhelming. The more I think about things, the more I second guess myself. Rea, I agree with Earl...make sure you ...
Re: Dr Dellon
Earl, Dr. Hibner does one side at a time "in case" there were to be some numbness and incontinence. I would hope the remaining side could provide enough sensation for everything needed to work. I know that may not be a comfort, but at least you would have the remaining side. Dr. Hibner als...
