Re: IPPS and Erdogru

Hi Karyn, Yes Iwould agree in hindsight that the laparoscopic approach is still invasive and painful. However compared to open surgery and damage to surrounding tissues especially with the use of robics, it has to prefereble to open surgery IF good results can be achieved. If however i5 becomes appa...

Re: IPPS and Erdogru

Hi Karyn, My surgery was unilateral so a very long time for just one side. I don,t think I ever had an explanation of why it took so long, other than it was a difficult surgery with a vety impacted neve at the ligament grip. On top of this the source of bleeding had to be found and dealt with. Dr Ti...

I am very very sorry that you are in such a bad way, my thoughts you out to you, and sincefely hope with time you will get some...

Re: IPPS and Erdogru

Hi Ali, I,m sorry you have had a rough time, but do hang on in there as you are very in the very early post op days. Whilst Ido have some hip issues on my effected side these have developed with the pn. Whether or not they were there before Ido not know, its a bit chicken and egg. Idon,t think Ihad ...

Re: IPPS and Erdogru

I cannot be quite sure over what time length we are referring to. Dr Tibet follows patients up at six weeks and then three mo thly for two years. The chart I remember was the first three months, this showed the most improvement in the first month for most people. As he has only been doing this advan...

Re: IPPS and Erdogru

Hi Ali, I do agree with what hou have said. To the best of my knowledge Iwas Dr Tibet,s first non turkish patient. I am now nearly six months post op and have made roughly 25 3o%improvement, most of this in the last two months. I am naturally pleased with this and hope given time Iwill continue to m...

Re: post op physio

Hi Violet, Did your piriformis pain or obdurator pain eventually subsidd, and if so do you think this was with the help of physio or natural recovery or a combination of both. I,m due to see my pain consultant in four months and whilst I,m not totally opposed to some more botox would much rather do ...

Re: post op physio

Hi Helen, Yes I,ve had my share of trials with the nhs, although nothing like you,ve had to put up with. Whilst we are not wealthy we have funded most of my treatment having paid tax all ours lives. I don,t think I can suggest anything to be helpful , would a few private physio sessions to get you g...
