Re: Surgery or not?

LeilaRose and ezer, thank you for your reply. LeilaRose's question: "Maybe you've discussed here many times (I didn't check) but what other conditions have been ruled out?" The following conditions have been ruled out based on MRI and color doppler ultrasound conducted by Dr. Bodner: "...

I just got my report from the examinations (MRI, ultrasound and PSSD) conducted by Dr. Aszmann and Dr. Bodner. This is their conclusion: "Both clinical examination and radiologic finding suggest the left pudendal nerve is affected at the dorsal canal due to chronic hypervascularity and venous c...

BTW, I happen to know that Dr. David Ralph in London is one of the worlds foremost experts on surgery to correct penile instability. He might be able to help you. You can google him.

Re: Dr Dellon

Pelvis Stressly,
Thank you for the info. Sorry to hear about the problems you are experiencing. Did Dr Dellon perform any specific examinations or sensory tests prior to surgery that, in his mind, would give him an indication that there was a problem with your dorsal nerve?

Re: Dr Dellon

ezer, I see. I'm sorry it didn't work for you. I thought I was on to something - but I guess maybe not. Assuming there had been no scar formation causing problems post-op, would you then consider this surgery to be justified or would you basically see it as of no use - no matter what?

Re: Dr Dellon

Griff522, I'm happy to hear that PT and ART are effective treatments against scar tissue around the nerve - and that your chiropractor was able to help you. For some reason scar formation seem to be more of an issue with dorsal nerve decompression surgery than with the other surgeries - I wonder why...

Re: Dr Dellon

Dr. Aszmann gave me the email address to one of his former patients. Here is his reply. (I have removed his name): Hello, my problems began in the fall of 2009. It started with genital and perineal pain, it was unbearable. I think it was a result of the accident and took me inside the scar. After tw...
