Re: Pulsed radiofrequency nerve ablation dr NY area?

Kathy, Dr. Diwan, he's with Manhattan Spine & Pain, he used to work with Dr. Chapman. He has an office in South Amboy, NJ, I believe he's only there on Fri, unless that changes in the fall/winter months. He is so nice and so caring, he wants to help, his staff is great too. He doesn't do nerve b...

Re: Ganglion Impar Injections

I had the injection almost a week ago now. I'm happy to report my coccyx and buttock pain has gone down from a 10 to a 4. Sitting the past few days has been much more tolerated. It didn't help with the other areas that's been giving me problems, anus, vulva, vagina, pelvic floor, etc. but to have so...

Re: Did labral tear surgery reduce your PN/pelvic/perineal p

I am happy to hear there are those that have had good outcomes with labral repair surgery. I guess I shouldn't give up just yet. After my right hip was repaired back in 2011 I had hip pain relief pretty fast but about a year later it got worse so much so that as I've said before im having Dr. Colema...

Ganglion Impar Injections

I know people have posted about Ganglion Impar Injections in the past, I was wondering if I can get more info. I saw Dr. Diwan today, very nice person, he wants to do a ganglion impar injection and take it from there. I'm scheduled to have it done this Thu, Aug 22. He said I'll be under anesthesia d...

Re: best way to treat a migraine

Honestly, the botox did not help. I don't know if it's because my stress quadrupled right after I had the botox done and my depression came back, which always makes my headaches work, or it just didn't work. I know someone who swears by it. I'm debating whether to give it another try or not, I have ...

Re: Did labral tear surgery reduce your PN/pelvic/perineal p

Griff, The only thing that I found to help my spasm was acupuncture. It took to the 5th session for relief but now the spasm is just about gone. Now that we figured out where to put the needles that it works its easy and actually very relaxing. You should be able to find a hip PT anywhere in the cou...

Re: Did labral tear surgery reduce your PN/pelvic/perineal p

Beverly, I had a totally different take on what Dr. Coleman said with regard to surgery. One of the main reasons I like Coleman so much is that, at least the way I took it, he said he doesn't understand why some people report hip surgery helping the pelvic pain but people do so there's a chance it w...

Re: Did labral tear surgery reduce your PN/pelvic/perineal p

Beverly, its interesting you're saying Dr. Coleman said after surgery your pelvic pain will be better as he never said that to me. I'm going for my second surgery with him in a month and he always says you're still in the running but not everyone finds it helps the pelvic pain and it can take a year...

Re: Did labral tear surgery reduce your PN/pelvic/perineal p

I'm scheduled Sep 10 for my second surgery with Dr. Coleman. I had my right hip done Jan 11 at first it was good and then it started getting real bad again to the point where I can barely walk or stand or sit without being in pain. So they are going back in to clean out the right hip and shave the b...
