Re: nerve blocks

I had the nerve block two weeks ago and my right foot went numb, but the normal feeling came back within two days. On the other hand, my left side of the vaginal area has become worse and is throbbing, sore, more sensitive and more swollen. It worked well for one whole day and then all went into a ...

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder

Hi all. Haven't been to the site in awhile but wanted to check in with a message of hope. I have had PGAD and bladder issues since August of 2013. I know the misery and hopelessness it brings. But the last few months I have been feeling better, with "good days" where the intensity overall ...

Re: Male suffering with PNE/PN for 3 years now

Joe- So sorry to hear about your PGAD symptoms. I know how awful they can be! I haven't worn pants since this started three months ago and spend many days using numbing cream and ice. Its awful! There are some meds that have helped dampen the symptoms...neurontin and Xanax being most helpful. I am p...

Re: Male suffering with PNE/PN for 3 years now

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder

Lucy, People do NOT understand how awful and life-altering this condition is...when I told my primary MD about my PGAD, she actually had the gall to say,"I bet some people would like to have this." You can't understand unless you live it. Violet is right, we have to keep trying everything...

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder

Hi, I get this PGAD everyday and I am at my wits end. I have recently had bilateral pudendal surgery a wheel ago and wondered when is can expect some relief. I have only just today told my partner, and he was shocked at what I have had to put up with. :( I've also been told that Botox can help. Can...

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder

Hi Swarke,

It is so hard to live with! How long have you been dealing with this? and who did your surgery?

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder

Hi Lucy, Looks like my other post did not go through. My first thought after reading your overwhelming post, was how you were robbed of being a new Mom. Can't even imagine having to deal with PGAD and parent a newborn and young children. The one med I don't see on your list is Xaxan (or another Benz...
