Finally given in (given up?)

And increased my duloxetine to 120mg. So much for weaning off my meds after the nerve blocks. I have given in and gone with my doctors suggestion and gone up to 120mg I am now on 120mg duloxetine and 2400mg gabapentin plus over the counter pain killers. Feeling very down that things are getting wors...

Re: Strange swelling

I don't think its a back mouse because it is a hat dish lump that can't be moved with some swelling on top just feels like the whole sacrum is out of position but obviously isn't as I have had an MRI. I am so confused. Thanks for answering

swollen sacrum

Hi guys
Does anyone have a painful swelling to the sacrum? I mean it is visible lump at the base of my spine.
I have been told that my mri showed swelling to the bone marrow but surely this wouldn't stick out on my back like this??

I think I will be going to the pain centre in Walton (Liverpool)
I was very wary of the psycho pain counselling bit but suppose I will give it a go

Re: pulsed radiofrequency neuromodulation

Yes I have been referred for PT and pain psychology too! Trying to get to see someone up north though. Are you confident in the suggested treatment? Funny we both have same treatment plan... Did you have an mri done? Would you ever consider surgery? Nantes criteria are 5 criteria that they use to di...

Re: MRI uk

And thanks I'm a lot better today ;) Have you had surgery with Dr greenslade and his team? I'm not familiar with your story. I do think it would be worth getting this scan if you haven't had surgery and are considering it. It appeared to show that I wasn't entrapped but there was swelling around the...

Re: MRI uk

I went privately but it was covered by my health insurance. Think the cost was in the region of £1000.
The report that comes with the cd is very thorough and I would definitely recommend them
