Re: Coming off Duloxetine 90mg

Just wanted to update. I stopped all medication a week ago. I weaned down from 90mg to 15 of duloxetine but the effects going from 15 to nothing were still horrendous. For the last week I have been dizzy, flu like and had horrible brain zaps. It has really been the hardest thing and I have been so t...

Re: dr Baranowski

I saw him privately actually I'm sorry to report. It was with insurance I had through my husbands work. I believe the scan I had would cost around £1000 if you wanted to pay for it yourself xx

Re: dr Baranowski

Hi I was referred by dr B for a GAD MRI scan at the sports institute on Tottenham court rd in London. Could you ring his secretary and ask if you can be referred? I had mine prior to the nerve blocks (the day before) I think the place is called the institute of sport and health or something-can't re...

Re: Coming off Duloxetine 90mg

Thanks Rosemary, I feel like I am coming out of a fog in terms of the meds. With the pain I still have some flare ups but it is manageable and that makes me feel that once my body adjusts to coming off the meds I will take another step forward :) I hope you are seeing some improvement too? Stick wit...

Coming off Duloxetine 90mg

Hello everyone! I am now at the point where I have weaned completely off 2400mg gabapentin without any real problems. I have also dropped 30mg duloxetine so I just have 60mg left. I actually can't believe that I am able to get to this point! BUT, I just can't get down from the last 60mg duloxetine. ...

Re: Trigger points in vulva ?

I was told by my first Physio that it can take up to 3 months to see benefit so although it is hard we have to try to stick with it for at least that time.
I would love to keep in touch and let me know how you get on with Ruth, you can pm me and that way I know I will see it!!
Xx

Re: Trigger points in vulva ?

Rosemary Sorry I haven't been on here for a while. I saw Ruth again on Wednesday and it actually took me ten hours to get home because of traffic and I have been suffering the after effects of that! Yes it's not great having a husband who works away but on the plus side it is his insurance paying fo...

Re: Trigger points in vulva ?

I'm not sure outer labia has muscles? But basically any bits that recreate your pain when pressed can be treated but I wouldn't do it unless you have been shown what to do and have a wand to do it. You don't want to overdo it. I don't know anatomy my husband has been taught it but when he is away I ...

Re: 2 Nerve Blocks and Pulsed Radio Frequency Neuromodulatio

I know how you feel I am not in to sports but a year ago I was size 8 and now I'm a large 12 which is pretty depressing! But my Physio told me to just 'let go' of that and concentrate on slowly improving then worry about getting back to how things were before. Hope you see some improvement soo, I'm ...
