Re: ultrasound guided bilateral nerve block

Dr. Attaman, Thank you so much for your clear explanation of the ultrasound guided bilateral nerve block. I think many on this forum are leery of nerve blocks because there are reports on this forum of lack of improvement or even worsening of symptoms. It is very hard for many of us to justify proce...

gabapentin

Hi
I am taking gabapentin and seem to have days of feeling more depressed
with uncontrollable crying jags. I don't know if this is the med or just
from dealing with the constant pain.
Has this happened to others? I hesitate to switch meds since it works somewhat
for the pain.

Re: New here. Sitting pain in testicle/pelvic region/hip

I have had pain from the coccyx forward and i think it was triggered by lifting. the pain is all on the left side and i am right-handed so i tend to brace with my left leg. Could you elaborate on the diaphragm release and tlj link? pt sa...

Re: KT Tape

Hi Dom I had a pt that tried that. After she realigned my pelvis she sent me home taped up for a couple of days. I would advise having a a pt do it. I can't say it made a huge improvement but it did make me feel like i had some support for the glutes and piriformis, which might have helped the obtura...

Re: Surgery

i would like to know the effectiveness of surgical results broken down by presumed etiology. For example, has surgery been most effective for those who experienced a specific acute event, like waking up from a hysterectomy with the pain? Has surgery never worked for those whose pain started after a ...

Re: HELP PLEASE!

Hi Esme,
Since this started with a coccyx removal you could check coccyx.org to see if there are others with similar post-surgical pain.

Re: MRNs

Hi Violet I did have a normal mri of the pelvis/sacrum. I guess that would have detected any tumors or nerve root impingements due to bone fragments or tarlov cysts? I am seeing someone next week and will ask them more about the mrn. Thank you Ezer for mentioning that they had a 1.5T machine where y...

Re: Muscle Spasms?

Hi Lindsey, I am so sorry you are having more general symptoms. Have you found any meds that have helped? For me, the first time i tried the gabapentin i felt like i was generally tingling so i didnt continue, but after i had a steroid shot things settled a bit, i tried it again and the drug helped ...

Re: Botox to coccyxgeus lavator ani and obturator

Hi Make-it-stop. Yes, I'm still taking 5mg Valium before each PT session. It helps with relaxing during the session and that effect seems to last a couple of days. Of the drugs I've tried the Gabapentin and the Valium have worked the best for me. When I took other muscle relaxants I had horrible dre...

Re: MRNs

Hi Ezer, Thank you for responding. I know you have reviewed the patent and have experience in imaging. So the MRN has different coils and software than other 3T MRI? Also, I have had numerous MRIs, including a cardiac MRI, but I now realize that I'm not sure if I can even have an MRN because it uses...
