Re: Hello, new here
Hi Capricorn, Yes, I have been taking that for 6 or 8 weeks now. I'm a low dose (20 mg), especially given that it's being prescribed for pain. It's a medication that is prescribed for both anxiety/depression and nerve pain (e.g., fibromyalgia patients are sometimes prescribed it). It's always diffic...

Re: Irritation in the pudendal nerve.
Hi SrPudendo, I don't know enough about anatomy to follow the description of what the radiologist found, but I will say that my MRI showed edema on the left side near the intersection of the SS and ST ligaments, exactly where it seemed like the pain originated. And that asymmetric edema was, in my M...

Re: Cryoablation Protocol Yielding Remarkable Results
Thanks, Jon. When I considered doing this with him in 2017, insurance didn't cover it because it wasn't a proven technique. It sounded like he was trying to collect data on the procedure to publish his results. I wonder if he's done that by now. I have had significant questions about the procedure, ...

Re: Hello, new here
Hi Capricorn, The surgery did reduce the bladder urgency symptoms. I do still get that urgency (in a mild form) when I have pain. They seem to go together. When I have heat or ice on, though, the urgency goes away. And the urgency isn't nearly as problematic as the pain. It's just a small nuisance. ...

Re: my experience with vaginal trigger point injections
Hi Mari,
Glad you had such a positive reaction to the treatment. Sorry about the recent flare and the bladder problems. It's so hard to know what will trigger it. Let us know how your next treatment goes.

Re: Life after pudendal nerve problems
Hi Samson,
Yes, as Violet said, there is life after (and even with) pn. I still have pn pain, but it is now low enough for me to manage. I work full-time in a busy job and have a happy life.
Take care,
April
