Re: London or Bristol?
Hi All, Personally I had a really positive experience with Dr B, he does have a bit of an old school manner with patients but to be honest I meet an lot of university professors / academics through my job who have very similar personalities / approaches. For me I was just incredibly grateful to get ...

Re: UPDATE
Hi Andrea, sorry not the speediest reply to your post as I only check the forum infrequently. Sorry you have been struggling after surgery. PN is such a tough condition. I've had pulsed radio frequency neuromodulation for pudendal nerve problems so can offer advice. I had 3 rounds and for me it was ...

Re: still waiting & getting nowhere
Hi Guys, Sorry haven't onto the forum for ages as been doing OK (in the pudendal nerve sense !). I have three rounds of pulsed radiofrequency and found it really helped my pain but it was only temporary relief. Be warned it makes things worse for the first week or two but after that it really dials ...

Re: Pregabalin prescription?
Hi Spike,
Thanks for the tips regarding the referral if required. Good to have a Plan B up my sleeve if / when it's required.

Re: Pregabalin prescription?
Hi Helen, Thanks very much for the info re your experiences both with pregabalin (not getting it) and gabapentin. I was a bit bothered after reading a few people with withdrawal issues with gabapentin online, but I haven't seen this get mentioned often. I'm very wary of getting dependent on any medi...

Re: Pregabalin prescription?
Hi Calluna, Thanks very much for the e-mail with all the advice I really appreciate it. Your GP sounds amazing and tragically that is something I really don't have access to. I've seen 3 different GP's at my practice and none of them seem to have much experience or knowledge with pain management at ...

Pregabalin prescription?
Anyone offer any help or advice. I've had two rounds of pulsed radiofrequency PN injections privately that were really successful and enabled me to be virtually pain free for up to 8months. The last one started wearing off begin July, I decided to try some more drug options as I've only ever taken c...

Re: hi advice needed for getting an appointment
Hi there, I like to think of it as a small success as I don't want to jinx my improvements !!! I have posted some info in the welcome centre forum. It is a pain management technique and does wear off eventually so I don't want to paint it as a long term cure. I'm happy to share my experiences though...

Re: hi advice needed for getting an appointment
Hi Mandy, Welcome to pudendal hope just wanted to pass on some of my experience and advice. I was mis-diagnosed with endo for 7 years with chronic pelvic pain, bladder and bowel control issues. Things reached a head for me and the pain got me so down I was very close to needing anti-depressants. My ...

Re: Embarassing bodies TV programme
I think this is a great idea and I am encouraged by the fact the programme now does "living with incurable conditions" rather than just the diagnosis side. I have noticed a couple of people in recent series who appear to have some neurological / pain issues that I suspect could have been P...
