Re: PGAD that turned into prolapse / nerve damage symptoms?
I agree with what Mari said. You owe it to yourself to get a proper diagnosis from a urogynecologist as to whether you have a prolapse. Regarding PT's, some of them will know about PGAD and some won't. But many of them who specialize in pudendal neuralgia are at least aware of it. https://www.pudend...

The person who wrote this scholarly article seems to agree with you. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC8061302/ However, there are many people, like myself, who never took SSRIs who get PGAD, so SSRIs are not always the cause. Re: Mri question - new member
Hello Everyone, I am new and found already useful Infos on this forum. I have one question: Can a Entrapment - even from scar tissue - be really seen on a MRI? Not always. It would depend partly on the MRI you had, for instance Dr. Hollis Potter in NYC has developed a protocol that enhances the pel...

If you go to him, please let us know how it goes. All the best,

Re: Pelvic and/or SI joint instability post surgery
I had the SS (sacrospinous) ligament severed and it doesn't seem to have affected pelvic stability. I had the TIR approach to surgery where the ST (sacrotuberous) ligament isn't cut. There are people who have reported on this forum that they had a stability problem after having the ST (sacrotuberous...

Re: Suicide Attempalls---and finally pain free!!!!!
Hello Help, Just saw one of your other posts and it sounds like you have been diagnosed already with pudendal neuralgia or pudendal nerve entrapment, so you can disregard some of what I said above. The goal now is to figure out which it is -- just PN, or PNE. So, you still need to answer for yoursel...

Re: My 6-year pain odyssey - PN - Ketamine infusions
That's unfortunate that you have been through so much pain. I found two doctors in the US who do ketamine infusion for pudendal neuralgia -- Dr. Vogel in Atlanta, Georgia, and Allison Wells in Houston,Texas. You can find their information on the pudendalhope.org website at the following link: https:...

Hello Moe,
Welcome to the forum. You can get a lot of info from reading posts here but also if you go to the homepage of the website at https://www.pudendalhope.info/ you can get a lot of information. Do you have a diagnosis yet or are you just starting to figure things out?

Re: Permant nerve damage?
Hi Chog, Welcome to the forum. I can understand why you are concerned. According to this article https://www.elsevier.com/resources/anatomy/nervous-system/peripheral-nervous-system/nerves-of-male-genital-system-left/25231 the dorsal branch of the pudendal nerve is what innervates the penis. Since th...
