Re: Dr Hibner - Abstract of Pudendal Neuralgia Journal
Is this his article from December 2009??? If so, I've read it and it is very thorough for not only explaining PN and PNE, but the conservative measures he has been using in his practice before heading off to the surgery. He may have a newer one out though, I don't know.

Re: Disability insurance
Doreen, You will love Dr. Hibner. He is definitely caring and compassionate. He wants to make sure the people he takes into surgery have exhausted all possible conservative methods of treatment. I knew in my heart (call it a sixth sense or whatever) that'd I'd end up in surgery but if I didn't try t...

Re: Surgery next --- now the insurance game
I spoke with my insurance company regarding my last trip to AZ. We obtained prior auth to go out of network.... sent in all my medical records, wrote numerous letters, etc. I double checked with them today and asked them if my entire Botox procedure was 100% covered and they said yes, because the ho...

Surgery next --- now the insurance game
Hi friends, I have a regional insurance company. Not one person in network takes care of PNE. I have (I think) made successful appeals/claims/whatever you call it thus far to cover treatment I have had in Phoenix. We had to write all these letters and submit some medical dictated reports, etc, throu...

God's promise
Dear friends, I, like you, have been through so much on this PNE journey. A while ago, while in praise and worship at my church service, God put in my spirit that I would be healed completely and live long years to testify about it. Many times, more often than you might think, this has given me peac...

Re: Do you feel your pain in shapes?
I don't know if I'd also consider this "circular" pain or not, but it feels like someone took a nail gun and shot brads around my rectum, then made a precise trail across my perineum to strategically go around the perimeter of my vulva and labia. And then I've got these lines of pain on e...

Re: Healing from Surgery
Hi romaine, I am no doctor by any means, but perhaps the grapefruit sensation is tissues swelling from inflammation on the inside? I wonder this because I had Botox 6 days ago and afterwards, until about today actually, I felt like a horse kicked me. Are you taking any NSAIDs like ibuprofen, etc? Ju...

Re: Healing from Surgery
Romaine,
Please keep us posted on how you are doing. I'm from the states and have never heard of your doctor, but this could be very helpful for UK patients. How long has he been doing this surgery and did he learn it in France from Bautrant?
Sincerely,
A's Mommy

Re: Botox this week with Dr. Hibner in AZ
Hi friends! Thanks for the good wishes for my Botox procedure. I had it yesterday. He also injected Marcaine at the same time of the Botox so I was blissfully numb for about 4 hours. I even sat with my husband and the friend we are staying with here in AZ and had Chinese food. Not so well today, as ...
