Dear mods,
I posted a long response in German on this section for the German speakers regarding my experience w Dr Aszmann and I see it has been deleted. Please let me know why.
Thank you,
Jessica

Univ. Prof. Dr. Oskar Aszmann

Re: Cutting the Perineal Branch
Jon, I second everything that NYT said. The deeper perineal branch, that comes off the main pudendal trunk at the distal end of the Alcock's canal, DOES INDEED serve motor function in opening and closing the external urethral sphincter. I would make sure that it is a superficial perineal branch, suc...

Cluneal Nerve treatment
I do not know much about the cluneal nerve, but from what I've read it is a more cutaneous (closer to the surface) nerve. It it just a sensory nerve or does it have motor function? Can it be removed and/or cut to remove the pain? Who does this surgery other than Aszmann and Dellon? I am wondering ab...

Faith, My post Botox sx are just like yours. Increased sacral pain, "cluneal" or cutaneous burning in the buttocks ---- I had my injex done on 6/27/11 and obviously they didn't relieve my pain so I am with you. I don't think I will ever get Botox again. Just a personal opinion for myself -...

Re: scar tissue /nerve entrapment
Linkey, Dr. Hibner is an excellent surgeon and STRONG believer in re-do surgeries. I would suggest contacting him asap if you consider him. Aren't you in S. Africa? He may talk to you on the phone or over email since you are so far away. The office number is 602.406.6017. yes I have it memorized!!! ...

Re: Pudendus Neuralgie
