Also, you got to stretch everyday and lengthen and strengthen all important muscles like the psoas muscle, piriformis, hip flexors, multifidas, hamstrings, and gluteu...

Not in your head Bro....lets start with that. I have same/similar symptom, mine were concurrent with L4-5 rupture and discectomy. Have you tried Lyrica and/or Cymbata ? Or something similar ?....BG

Re: My experience and update with Dr. Marvel

Hope, I have a neuromodulator to help with my PN pain. I can tell you about my perceived pros and cons. I, also, like you, went to see Dr. Marvel as one of his male patients. Cant remember...but have you tried Lyrica and/or Cymbalta ? My wife is an OB/GYN incidentally....BG

Re: Alone in the pain

G, Lyrica was a big help for me. I started off at 75mg a day but it was not enough. Doc increased it to 150 mg a day and it really helped. Gotta give it a few weeks to kick in. Are you doing some exercises to loosen, stretch, and strengthen ?

Re: Alone in the pain

Goldman, I am a male PN/PNE patient with some symptoms like yours. Moreover, my feelings about the experience are a lot like what you are describing (fear, panic, an abyss). Do you want to discuss via this forum ?- BrianG
