Agreed. There are many cheaper immitations, but they don't work. They are very expensive, but if you add up the cost of not sleeping and chronic pain from spending too much time laying down it is worth the cost as you said.
I love the 'travel' size idea. You should market that.

neurostimulator = does anyone have one implanted?
Mods, sorry I didn't know where else to post this question. I have nerve entrapments in my left leg so a new doc on my case wants to implant a neurostimulator, which from what I understand, makes the pain 'tingle' instead of 'burn'. Others I spoke to said it didn't work for them since it didn't help...

Re: PN, PNE and IC
I completely agree with Hibner. I think IC people are not getting better because they have nerve damage that isn't being treated. That's why I asked. I wished IC docs and sufferers would look deeper for a cure and not give up. I feel bad that IC sufferers trust docs instead of fighting to figure out...

Lyrica questions
For those of you on Lyrica: Did it make you tired, disoriented and unable to carry a conversation? The docs keep uping the dose and I love that it takes some of the burning away so I don't want to stop taking Lyrica. That said, I can't drive on it because it makes me confused and very cloudy in my h...

PN, PNE and IC
My IC symptoms were cured (which some don't like when I use that word because I have IC I just no longer have any symptoms so I consider my IC cured) when my PNE was surgically fixed and with over a year of many different PT treatments and a special diet. Do you think there is a connection between I...

Ins. or disability paying for travel expences
I have a stupid question. Since we are all traveling to specialists that live everywhere but where we live, has anyone found a way to get their travel expences covered? My disability only pays my bills and there is none left over for meds or travel and Ins. does not cover travel expences so I'm wond...

Re: Successful Block?
I have had 3 nerve blocks the last 3 months in a row. I get one in each pudendal and one in the left obturator. They don't help with nerve pain, but they do help with my stamina and restroom issues. I'm able to feel when I need to use the restroom and am able to use the restroom without help usually...

Do PN and PNE people have IC as well?
I had IC that was cured after the nerves started healing after my decompression surgery. Do any of you have IC issues? Do any of you think there are people thinking they have IC when what they really have is PN or PNE? I feel like IC people are being misdiagnosed and that is why they are not getting...

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder
I had this from puberty until after my surgery last year. I had to desensitize the nerves and stretch the nerves and mucles internally so they could be at rest. It was very painful and ice was the only relief I got and, let's face it, frozen genitals isn't really relief. Over a year of PT working to...
