Re: MRI test - Why Not?
Hi April: Thanks for all your information pertaining to non-coverage for the pudendal cryoablation at Emory. You were the one who sent me the protocols for the 3T MRI in my yahoo e-mail I'm going to the center who said they have the 3T machine. I made a copy of the protocols and will see if they do ...

Re: MRI test - Why Not?
Hi Wendy: Thank you for your advice. Right now I'm working with my personal trainer to help me with my sciatica and lower back pain. When I'm well enough on this end, I'm going for pelvic floor therapy to help address the pudendal nerve issue. I'm hoping this will help. After this, I will see. Thank...

Re: MRI test - Why Not?
Hi April: Thank you for the e-mail concerning the protocols. Yes, I do use ice everyday. I'm also trying to find out the procedure code for pudendal cryoablation. I called up at Emory in Georgia and was told to go on the internet and Google this, since I have not been up to see Dr. Prologo. Any sugg...

Re: Anyone comfortable in their car?
Hi Sue Dean:
I'm still interested in the cushion you made for yourself that described how you used a cheap toilet seat, one pool noodle, toilet seat covers by Diaso and memory foam. How do you hold it all together. I wrote a previous post on Nov. 17th inquiring about this.
Thank you,'
Dorothy

Re: MRI test - Why Not?
Hi April: I'm sorry I have taken so long to answer about getting Dr. Potter's protocol for the 3T MRI. I've been trying to check into Dr. J. David Prologo''s pudendal nerve cryoablation procedure, and if there has been any further news or updates to it. I read the posts to it on this forum. I also w...

Re: Prologo Interview On Home Page
Re: Prologo Interview on Home Page Has anyone had the procedure done that Dr. Prologo is doing - called "cryoablation" - which involves freezing the pudendal nerve? I called at one of the hospitals he works at in Emory Johns Creek Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia and they said he's still doing...

Re: Anyone comfortable in their car?
Sue Dean - your car seat cushion that you put together sounds interesting. I have a couple of questions: how do you glue the noodle to the toilet seat? Doesn't the toilet seat have to be thick enough so the noodle can fit inside firmly enough to glue it? Also, what are the toilet seat covers from Di...

MRI test - Why Not?
After four months of doctors, I was told that I have pudendal neuralgia. A neurologist did an internal exam and found that this nerve is irritated. I had surgery in March 2019 and the nerve was irritated, probably from the procedure (hysterectomy). I asked the neurologist to have an MRI done, and he...

Finding a PT Therapist
I live in the Broward County, South Florida area and am trying to find a pelvic floor therapist who works with and treats the pudendal nerve. It took four months before I was diagnosed with this. My job involves a lot of sitting so to compensate for this, I have been doing a lot of standing. I had a...
