Re: People With Success W/New Pulsed Low Radiofrequency Abla
Dr Coleman of the Pain clinic sent me for an MRI of my pelvic region to see if there may be something awry. Just had it done a few days ago - have yet to see Dr Coleman for a follow up. I'm not sure, but I think I convinced him last visit that it just may be a mechanical issue with my pelvis. At lea...

Re: People With Success W/New Pulsed Low Radiofrequency Abla
Hi All, I will add my recent experience. I had RFA done to my pudendal nerve on October 31st. This time, as opposed to the previous time, they found the pudendal nerve. I know, because I felt it BIG TIME in my right testicle, which is where the majority of the pain resides. But it made no difference...

Re: Marijuana!!
I tried CBD a few years ago from a company in Canada.
Unfortunately, it did nothing for me.
Strange that it works for some and not others.

Re: Pudendal Neuralgia from the Spine
Thanks so much Michele for your addition. I spent about a year going round and round with different "fellows in training" in the Stanford pain clinic back around 2005. After one year, I was finally seen by Dr. Mackey and he sent me to a pelvic floor PT immediately. Although I was glad that...

Thanks Violet!
I will post here again after I get some feedback from the pain clinic.
Probably will be a while. They move very slowly.

Re: Pudendal Neuralgia from the Spine
Hi April, Unfortunately, I forgot to check the box to notify me of replies and just now noticed this. I get my Tercumin from Costco. I don't know if contains circumin and I can't go look at the moment. They are 1000 mg capsules. I believe that is significantly higher than others. My stomach has now ...

Re: Pudendal Neuralgia from the Spine
So glad you brought this up stephanies. I have been walking down this path for about a year now, after I found I had serious problems with my spine at a Dr's appointment which was meant for problems I was having with my hip. They did an x-ray and saw some bad stuff in my spine and told me to see a n...

Re: People With Success W/New Pulsed Low Radiofrequency Abla
Saint, There was a reply from Dr Attaman about this (not sure I am spelling his name right) at the bottom of page 1 of this post. He is saying that the term 'ablation' is not appropriate. He uses 'Treatment' instead. It doesn't zap the nerve out of existence. It is 'pulsed' in such a way as to not g...

Re: People With Success W/New Pulsed Low Radiofrequency Abla
JJ11, "...but I experienced a flare up after a few months following each." RU saying that the relief only lasted a month? I had this performed on me at Stanford... gosh, must be 10 years ago now. It did absolutely nothing for me. I was very disappointed it didn't help me at all. I mean zil...

Re: IMPORTANT information for residents of California
I just glanced at the bill and noticed that in bullet 7 it states that Physicians caring for chronic pain patients would be exempt from following this spp. At least that's the way it looks like to me. Anyone care to confirm my observations of the bill? I've been wrong before. Thanks Skip
