Re: Is my erectile dysfunction nerve related?

I would say it is more probable that you have sever pelvic floor dysfunction than classic PNE. Of course that pudendal nerve plays one of the major roles in this havoc but is more probably not an initial culprit. Most of the CPPS suferrers do have some ED, or at least, the erection quality is lower....

Re: Chronic Penis Tip Pain

Chronic penile tip pain is frequently attributed to trigger points in levator ani, mainly its parts pubococcygeus/puborectalis. These parts are difficult to treat by PT, but skillful PT is able to do it. I would say, that this avenue is more probable than PN. Psychomatic issues might also play a rol...

Re: PN centered on the penis with ED - need help and advice

I think that it is too early to have definitive diagnosis. My beginnings were very similar. Now the periods of remission (although no complete, but periods with low level muscular ache) are interchanging with flare-ups. My pain is usually not devastating enough to risk decompression surgery, but I a...

Re: Surgery with Prof. Aszmann in Austria

I did not have operation with dr.Aszman, only nerve block and 3 personal consultation (I am living 50 km from Vienna). In my opinion, he is the best expert in entire PNE field, a go to guy with excellent approach and communication.

Re: PN centered on the penis with ED - need help and advice

Hallo Marcc, I am struggling with somehow similar problems like you almost a decade. The better periods with low level aches and dyscomfort are interchanging with flare-up. However, last year I had 8 months period (my longest) with only minimal dyscomfort and I was living a normal life. Now I have u...

Re: Possible PN and not sure what to do

Hallo G., I read your story, the spot where the leg is attaching the pelvis is also my problematic spot, mainly on the right side. Pudendal nerve is surely involved in our cases, but the underlying reason might be trigger point in adductors or ischiocavernosus. Those trigger points are radiating pai...

Re: New on here, desperate for opinions on possible PN

John do you have any news? My case is similar in some aspects, so I read thoroghly your thoughts. The problem is that the highly sensitive ilioinguinal or genitofemoral nerve might not be the underlying reason, but a part of big picture - namely pelvic myoneuropathy. Difficult to treat, I am struggl...

Re: Has anyone ever tried cryotherapy. Not Cryoablation.

I have tried whole-body cryotherapy cca 1 year ago. Would not recommend it, I had pretty bad flare-up lastting 3-4 weeks...al the muscles in pelvis went in the spasms and the general feeling was very painful. This is not the way to go.

Re: Strange changes - please help

Lostinaz, I feel empathy for you, my problems started also as the post-ejaculatory pain, both from sex or masturbation. I also remember there was a lot of tensing and clenching the pelvic muscles...I think that most probable reason behind are trigger points in your thrashed and knotted pelvis muscle...

Re: Dott.Marc Possover says: No Pudendal Neuralgia

Hallo gabriel, sorry for late reply. Diagnostic tests> 1. 3Tesla MRI - according to dr. Aszmann in Vienna, there are some fibrotic thickening in right dorsal canal (my right side is worse) they might or might be not the underlying reason. 2. Palpation on the course of pudendal nerve - no Tinel sign ...
