Re: Anyone worse after PT?

I am after 2 sessions of PT and feel that I am worsening. It might be only temporary but I intuitively feel that some stretches especially in groin area, that my PT made might be potentially dangerous. Still think that we need more trigger point release, intrarectal massage of pelvic muscles than st...

Re: blind perineal branch nerver block

I had 2 perineal corticosteroid blind shots in summer 2010. It helped a little bit.
However, the injection needle did not go very deep.
I think that risk of inujry made by needle is significantly lower than when Alcock is injected.

Re: Any Dr. Aszmann Success Stories Out There?

Hi Ali I discussed the issue also with dr. Urban in Prague (he is an urologic surgeon). Basically he said that French TG operations are incredibly invasive and the risk is not worth unless there is clear entrapment/pathology arising from rather invasive nature (injury, complicated birth, other pelvi...

Re: Any Dr. Aszmann Success Stories Out There?

Hi Ali I feel definitely better but some portion of pain is still left there, I will wait 4-5 weeks. I dont think that real entrapment is there. My pain is bilateral and not worsened by sitting. The intensity of pain is rather low righht now (although still present) and I cannot imagine to risk TG o...

Re: Any Dr. Aszmann Success Stories Out There?

Here are my updates: 1. A week ago (21.2) I was at prof. Urban at his Pelvic pain centre Androgeos in Prague. I had pretty bad pain in January/early February. he palpated all my pelvic floor once again with those results: very painful pelvic muscles, coccyx and even prostate. When he palpated prosta...

Re: Any Dr. Aszmann Success Stories Out There?

I had extracorporeal shock wave (ESW) EXACTLY one year ago, 1.2. 2011 here in Bratislava, Slovakia, Europe. Performed by my orthopedist who attributed my pain in pubic, inguinal and genital region to strained inguinal ligament. My pain was always worse after some physical impact - playing tennis, se...

Re: Any Dr. Aszmann Success Stories Out There?

Finally I have evaluation of my 3T MRI from prof. Aszmann: Here it is: "Sorry for the tardy reply. I have been out of town a lot during January. I have looked at your MRI with Prof. Bodner 10 days ago. There are a few things that we saw: 1.) you have additional muscle bellies of the glutaeus ma...

Re: 6 CT Guided Nerve Blocks

I think that 2 weeks is too little time to evaluate the effect of the block.
I would wait some more time with the decision whether it worked or not.

Re: Dr Dellon

Maybe it is still too early from those Dorsal decompression surgeries performed by dr. Dellon and dr. Aszmann, and maybe the nerve will regenerate later. difficult to say. what is a big enigma for me is, that almost in all cases the findings DURING the operations are justifying the intervention: the...

Re: Dr Dellon

Dear A´s mommy I am still waiting for the email from Aszmann with two issues: 1) His evaluation of my 3T MRI 2) date for 17Mhz ultrasound of prof. Bodner (Aszmann promised to arrange that date). After that I will decide what s going on. Probably will start extensive physical therapy focused on eradi...
