Re: Some Questions - Appreciate every advice

Hallo PleaseHelp I try to shed some light into your questions: - infiltrations means either the nerve block or the botox, both are modalities/options with treatment of pudendal neuralgia, but everybody is different. - Prof. Bodner is one of the best specialist on pudendal worldwide, you are in good ...

Re: Is Pelvic Floor Dysfunction the same as PN?

Violet I would like to ask you, you wrote that it is important "whether the pain is positional or stress/anxiety related:...Do you mean that
a) positional pain is highly indicative for PNE/PN
b) stress/anxiety related pain is more leaning toward Pelvic Floor Dysfunction as a diagnosis?
thanks

Re: Dott.Marc Possover says: No Pudendal Neuralgia

Gabriel I also think that it is rather kind of general pelvic myoneuropathy in your case, I am struggling more than 6 years with similar problems. Pain is probably a summary from several nerves, although pudendal nerve might play a prominent role in this havoc. I was also almost sure that I have PNE...

Re: Whole body cryo therapy

Hi Violet, wholebody cryotherapy means that you enter the chamber with 120 degree Celsius for approximately 2 minuts. you are walking in the circle and then you have to exercise in order to foster the bloodflow etc. I had 2 weeks flare/up because my pelvis muscles contracted, then I was at my PT and...

Re: Introduction, possible PNE

Difficult to say because there are many variables in play. The piriformis track might be the key, maybe you should try dry needling of piriformis, this muscle is relatively well aproachable...Piriformis /as well as obturator internus/ might interfere with pudendal nerve, I guess this scenario is muc...

Re: Whole body cryo therapy

4 days ago I tried whole body cryotheraphy but unfortunately it did not help, rather aggravated my condition, I have regular flare/up now, and regret it, but I feel gratitude for great summer I had, 10 weeks without flare/up, only some portion of muscular pain/discomfort.

Re: Pudendal neuralgia from 12 years

Hallo Gabriel, 1) regarding PT: PT is not the mere eradication of trigger points, but also stretching, skin rolling massage, massaging the connective tissues etc....I still think that positive effect of PT prevail in almost all cases, maybe with the exception of cases immediately post-operative... K...

Re: Pudendal neuralgia from 12 years

I also think that if you had no relief with precisely placed pudendal nerve block, then other diagnosis are more probable. I can somehow relate to your condition because my problems started also after prolonged sex with a lot of edging and delaying orgasm. Maybe there is some kind of general pelvic ...

Re: Whole body cryo therapy

I would also like to know some experiences, there is a possibility in my town to try this cryotherapy. They stated that it might be beneficial also for irriatated nerves, because it will calm them down, but I am afraid that pudendal nerve is too delicate structure to such experimets...I would really...

Re: SHOCK WAVE THERAPY

I tried it 2011, but unfortunately it inflicted several months of flare-up and worsening of my condition. Other members of the forum did have some success, but I think that pelvis is too delicate structure to apply such tool, because with shocking wave you cannot prognose the outcome of the waves di...
