groin pain is pretty typical, I have it also. There is much of the cross-talk of nerves, so it is difficult to isolate the areas which are not directly innervated by pudendus, but are clearly interlinked via muscles, tendons, trigger points etc. Groin pain is seldom the initial culprite of pain.

I also did not have Tinel sign, palpated by prof. Aszmann and prof. Bodner , both outstanding experts in this field. Prof. Aszmann told me that those who are entrapped in Alcock or Dorsal canal, would "spring to the roof" of pain. During strong palpation I felt only some kind of discomfort...

I dont think that our situation is that doomed as it might seem...The treatment of PN is almost always multimodal and a lot of us had some improvment with PT, Neurontin, etc...regarding nerve blocks, e.g. dr. Antolak considers them partly curing, but I agree that their main purpose is diagnostic.

Hallo Tommy, Hypogastric Plexus Block war gar nicht schlimm, der Stich wurde unweit von Coccyx platziert, mit eher einer langen Nadel. Ich hatte keine Schwierigkeiten aber auch leider keine Besserung. Superior Hypogastric Plexus ist ein "Knoten" wo viele pelvische Nerven treffen einander.....

Die Pause zwischen Impuls und Dauerschmerz ist ein Zeichen von neuropatischen/neuralgischen Schmerzen, das ist bekannt.... 3 Monaten sind anscheinend sehr viel aber es kann so sein..Meine Hypothese ist, dass während diesen 3 Monaten in Pudenduskanal eine Adhesion entstanden ist, die Pudendus behinde...

Enschludigung fuer späte Antwort. Die Palpation von Prostata oder die naheliegenden Muskeln (Levator Ani, Puboccocygeus?) hat die familiäre Schmerzen ausgelost bzw. gestärkt. Das ist eine Indikation, dass alles einigermassen zusammenhängt. Hypogastric plexus block hab ich beim Doz. Urban in Prag abs...

This tooth-like pain after the ejaculation (sex or masturbation) was also the most prominent initial symptome in my case. pain never appeared immediately after ejaculation, but 24 hours or later...Exactly the same spot...

I had ultrasound guided dorsal nerve block made by prof. Bodner in summer 2012. Unfortunately no difference, at least I was lucky having had no flare-up.

Ich war im Sommer 2012 bei Prof. Bodner, er hat eine Blockade von dem rechten Dorsalen Nerv gemacht, leider ohne Wirkung. Die Blockade wurde unter Ultrasound device gemacht, keine Komplikationen.

Hallo Tommy, vielleicht wäre es hilreich entweder einen Dorsal Nerve Block oder einen Hypogastric PLexus Block probieren.
