Cluneal Nerve Imaging
Cluneal Nerve Imaging
Since there is a possibility that the cluneal nerve may also be a culprit in perineum pain I asked Dr. Potter if she is able to image the cluneal nerve. Unfortunately, the nerve is too small to be seen with current technology.

Re: Cluneal Nerve Imaging
I am curious to know how exactly small this cluneal nerve is to the naked eye. I am referencing Robyn's surgery in this: where she said Dr. Dellon pried apart layers of muscle, tissue, and nerve.
I am so happy she is better. To have that kind of immediate pain relief... wow. It almost seems AMAZING!

Re: Cluneal Nerve Imaging
I do not know how small the cluneal nerve is either but Dr. Dellon seems to belief he can figure out if you have an entrapment of either or both the pudendal and cluneal on physical exam by where he presses.
Having just met Dr. Dellon for an evaluation I am not surprised by her results.

Re: posterior labial nerve
Hi Nyt and A's Mommy,
There is a branch of PN nerve -posterior labial nerve . I know nothing about it and haven't seen anyone mentioned it either in their MRI reports or surgery findings. Maybe it is not important. Do you happen to know ? Regards, M.

Re: Cluneal Nerve Imaging
Mulan, thanks for posting such an excellent diagram. Do you have one that shows the obturator internus and externus muscles? Thanks.
