If I were you, I'd go to the doctor and have that evaluated. I doesn't seem like a "clot" would be something that would come from a hemorroid. I'm wondering if your constipation has been worse lately, if you might have an anal fissure? I had one of those - no bleeding, but it was extremely painful. This was long ago before PN. I was on antibiotics for pneumonia and I ended up taking three different types because it was resistant pneumonia. I had extreme diarrhea with the drugs and ended up with the fissure. If I recall, I think I took some sitz baths for it - again long time ago. Have you had a colonoscopy?

Ray, thanks for the tips on supplements. I'll check it out. Scaredgal, there's no pathology in my colon according to approx. six colonoscopies/sigmoidoscopies including one in late November, 2010. Ray, do you ever see blood clots in the toilet (Too Much Information for some)?

Ray, are you talking Cascada Segrada tabs or Senna? Senna gives me terrible cramps and I haven't yet tried Cascada S.

I do Docusate and Miralax now. And coffee. Although, that's lovely for my hot lava pee.

I take senna. I usually see blood when I wipe. Right now I take one or two Swiss Kriss and one Senna or Mag. I have been experimenting with this for years now.

Hi all, I got permanent hemorrhoids following Botox treatment. Sometimes they flare and then I am in misery. As though the PNE pain isn't enough.
