Hi her majesty,
Thanks for the info on standing tolerance and pne. It's good to know I am not alone in this. I love your polite comment regarding the dr.s statement.lol
Thanks for the encouragement to keep fighting for answers.

Hi Gail, polarbear wrote:It sounds like you have had a successful surgery for your pn. When did you have the surgery, type of surgery, surgeon etc.
I had surgery in Oct. of 2004 -- the TIR approach from Dr. Bautant. There are many more surgeons on this side of the "big pond" to choose from now though. It was not easy to travel that far although I'm very happy I did.
I think if you could get the 3T MRI it might give you a better idea of what areas need to be addressed in your case.
Take care,
Violet
PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.
