Can somebody tell me how to put my personal information, about myself, on this website ie.what doctors I have seen, what surgeries I have had, what my diagnosis is etc. I see everyone has that helpful information, and I can't figure out how to get it to appear each time I post. Thank you. Krisssy

Go to User Control Panel (upper left part of page), click on Profile tab, click on Edit Signature bar and put in whatever you want, then click to save it.
PNE as a result of childbirth, 2002. Treatment by the Houston team, with neurosurgery by Dr. Ansell in 2004. My left side ST and SS ligaments were found to be grown together, encasing the pudendal nerve.

I am cured. I hope you will be, too.

There are no medical answers on the forum. Your only hope is to go to a doctor. I was very happy with the Houston team, which has treated the most PNE patients (well over 400), more than any other US provider.

Krissy,

My good friend and fellow PNE sufferer Ness, has just loaned me a book called Secret Suffering by Dr. Echenberg. It is brilliant and a great source for people with this painful condition. My husband thought it is a kind of voyeurism and refused to read it. It still goes to show that even some family members just don't get it!!! The book explains everything there is to know about PN and does have real people's stories there.

I'm so sorry to hear your story Krissy. Such suffering takes it toll. I do hope and pray that Dr. Echenberg can help. All the very best with your appointments.

Catherine (Australia)
2004 PNE following vag. hysterectomy and A & P repair. 2007 TIR surgery France. severe entrapment at Alcocks canal & SS ligaments . Have my life back. 90% cured. No longer have medical appts.or physio. Some pain remains but is tolerable. 2012 Flew from Australia to the UK without pain flare. Very manageable. Almost back to normal. Now hold support group meetings at KEMH Subiaco Perth WA. Every 2nd Sat. of the month. Still pace my activities. PN doesn't dominate any more.
