neurostimulator = does anyone have one implanted?

Post by kat »

Mods, sorry I didn't know where else to post this question.

I have nerve entrapments in my left leg so a new doc on my case wants to implant a neurostimulator, which from what I understand, makes the pain 'tingle' instead of 'burn'.

Others I spoke to said it didn't work for them since it didn't help the pelvic pain.

Is a neurostimulator something anyone has heard of for PN and PNE? It seems like it masks pain so I'm not sure why I would get it.

Thanks for any info you may have.
