migraine headache

Post by pamesona »

How can I relieve a migraine without medicines? I get slight migraines when my body is under stress. Like when I'm working too hard, my sinuses are acting up, I'm worrying too much. What are things I can do to make my head feel better? It feels like there's a ring around my head and someone is pushing down on it. I took migraine medicine years ago, but I'm seeking new solutions.

Obviously this is not pudendal nerve related but when I saw your mention of your sinuses acting up I thought I should mention a possible solution for you. I lived with an almost constant sinus headache for 20 years but since I started the following treatment I rarely have a headache. This treatment is an East Indian ayverdic treatment and was recommended by my accupuncturist.

1. Take 1 tablespoon of organic cold-pressed or expeller-pressed sunflower oil when you first wake in the morning up but do not swallow it.
2. Keep it in your mouth for 15-30 min and make chewing motions with your mouth. The oil will turn whitish or clear.
3. Spit the oil out and brush your teeth and wash the toothbrush with soap.
4. Do this for 3 months and then just as needed (I continue to do it most AM's because if I don't the headaches come back).
5. Refrigerate the oil and keep it sealed.

To some, this may sound ridiculous as it did to me before I started doing it but I was desperate. I'm so glad I tried it because it's truly given me back a decent life. The theory behind it is that the oil draws fungal spores out of your body which is why you should not swallow the oil. I have no idea if there is anything scientific to it but it works for me. I had a friend who was getting ready to have sinus surgery but decided not to after trying this treatment because it worked for her too.

It seems like it would be really hard to keep the oil in your mouth that long but after a few times you get used to it and it's very easy -- you just can't talk.

Now.......if only it were that easy to treat PN!

Good luck,

Violet
PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.

Thanks Violet for this great natural remedy for sinus and migraine headaches.
I know you sent it to me before but I havent followed it regularly, and right now I too have sinus pains, so tommorow morning I will go and try it again.
PNE started 2003 following Vaginal Hysterectomy, pelvic floor repair and right oophorectomy; eventually after many tests had BilateralTG surgery Nantes 2004; following this tried many other treatments including 7 day epidural, ketamin infusions to no avail; Trialed and was implanted with a Neurostimulator in 2007- Dr Van Buyten Belgium, this has enabled me to manage my pain much better.
