Each time I've had a procedure, I've prayed in advance for my docs. I didn't even know LottaNerve, but had read on TIPNA that she was to have surgery on 8/30/10 and the day before her surgery I just envisioned God's hands descending on Dr Hibners hands. I prayed and prayed for Dr Hibner so much before my surgery. Heck, I told him at pre op that I had my whole church and facebook friends praying for him!!! Our doctors need prayer, as they are not gods, and need divine help from the one true God. Keep up the prayers for the physicians and medical people... Their jobs are so important.

Had all the conservative workups done, 3Tesla (Potter), recovering from L sided TG (Hibner) 11/10, Botox 6/11 failed, bilateral anterior PNE decompression (distal Alcock's/perineal branch), Aszmann, Vienna, 10/11; dx'd with CRPS Type 2, 12/11, Ketamine @ CCF 2/12, doing 75% better PRAISE JESUS!

-straddle fall age 4-7 w/bleeding labia, tampons hurt in teens, papsmere started annoying pelvic 'tingling' & pne in 02
-obturator surgery w/ Filler in 05 (useless, created sciatic & plantar fascitis pain)
-TIR surgery w/ Bautrant in 08 and vestibulectomy in 08 in France (vest. removed pain w/intercourse, pain w/sitting increased post surgery)
-chronic fatigue & food allergies/migraines (gluten, milk) from pain meds in 08
-want a life back. I'm 34 w/8+ years of pain

I too have prayed vigilantly on the eve of every procedure hoping that God would guide the surgeon to do his/her very best while I was on the operating table.
Doctors are humans too, but we as patients need to have faith in their capabilities while we are under their care.
Im sorry to hear that Athena is not well, give her lots of hugs and try steaming to relieve that cough.

PNE started 2003 following Vaginal Hysterectomy, pelvic floor repair and right oophorectomy; eventually after many tests had BilateralTG surgery Nantes 2004; following this tried many other treatments including 7 day epidural, ketamin infusions to no avail; Trialed and was implanted with a Neurostimulator in 2007- Dr Van Buyten Belgium, this has enabled me to manage my pain much better.

You are such a good person, Athena's mommy! It takes a lot of love to gather others in prayer for others. It takes a loving and selfless person to pray for people you don't even know personally, so I commend you on that. Many people wouldn't take the time to think about the other person in the mix. Surgeons and doctors are totally human and they need God's love just as much as anyone else. We're all children of God and we all need to be looked after. God Bless!
