I don't know what the temp was on Vanessa's water therapy. I used fairly warm water but if it causes a flare-up for you definitely don't do it. Two minutes in hot and 30 seconds in cold is what I did.
If you are going to try water walking I would start out very gently and keep it gentle. I still can't tolerate vigorous water walking but my ligaments are shot and they are never going to be back to normal. If you have central sensitization I think that just floating is the way to start out.

Re: mri of buttocks
PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.
Re: mri of buttocks
The water walking I did was gentle and just warm not hot water. Good luck Kathy, I hope something helps!

Re: mri of buttocks
Thx janet and Violet for the advice about water walking and temps..
I will try the alternating temps as you did in the tub.
I will check out the pool The pain practitioners tell me its ok if I swim, gently but not sure if its safe, so will start water walking or floating.
Not sure if I have true central sensitization..have never been told I did by any of my docs, but I know my nervous system has been barraged with constant pain and urinary issues,
so I could.
Thx again
