Successor to Jerome Weiss in San Francisco

Post by nomad »

Hello friends!

Does anyone know of anyone in San Francisco who could fill the shoes of Dr Jerome Weiss now he's retired? I'm just starting my diagnostic journey and would appreciate someone to help me navigate it.

Given the pain I'm feeling, I'd rather not travel to San Jose to see the specialist he recommended (Jeanette Potts in San Jose)

Cheers!

I’m very interested to know this too. From what I read, Dr Weiss was really good at fixing pudendal issues with conservative measures without rushing people to surgery. There should be more doctors like that. So far I am not finding anyone as good as he seemed to be. Would be extremely grateful for information on which doctors are worth seeing that have similar approach to pn and pne as Dr Weiss. Not sure about Dr. Potts, if anyone wento to her please leave review. I am skeptical of her because I found a website that says about her that she “uses physical therapy, especially of the pelvic floor and pelvic region, as an important component of treatment. Other specialists, however, focus on nonpsychologic sources of pain, such as disease or damage of the pudendal nerve.” Meaning that she does Not treat pudendal nerve?? And you have to find other specialists for that? In that case why did Dr Weiss refer his patients to her idk.
2017 Started gradually with itching, tightness, constipation, then sharp burning stabbing hot achy pain in genitals, heels, cervix, and deep butt. 2018 Total relief after sat on swing! But back after swimming. Quit work too much pain. December got Botox and bilateral pudendal block. Much help. 2019 Gradual return of symptoms despite pt. Looking for doctor to examine pudendal nerve and give the right exercises, massages, injections.
