2nd post, pain increasing

Post by Testudo »

Pain is increasing in pelvis, some numbness and stinging. Violet, April, are there home exercises that I should employ, no PN and/or PNE diagnosis. Off the bike, what about speed walking. Don’t see the neurologist until December 15. I think I hurt myself biking and bicep curls.

Since your pain is increasing I think it would be a good idea to give everything a rest for a few days or weeks and see if it calms down. If you feel better then maybe start some light walking, not uphill, and see how that goes. Just from my own experience, if you don't stop doing the exercises that increase your pain, you are going to be in a downward spiral that you may not get out of. If you can swim, that would be the best. Just avoid the frog kick if you swim.

PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.
